FEED x Target Collaboration

The charitable company FEED Projects and the non-profit organization FEED foundation have been working together for over three years. Their goal? To feed the world and improve the global food system. It wasn’t until recently, however, that they decided to tackle a growing problem here in the United States — childhood hunger. With it, they are encountering a whole new set of challenges such as access to nutritional foods and teaching children how to make healthier choices. To aid them in their mission, they are engaging school food providers and teachers to improve school food and nutrition education one school at a time.

Milly Darby Geo Tote

Milly is still making an appearance on the handbag scene. At first, I was finding the sudden surge in Milly handbags unusual. After all, Milly has always been (in my mind) a clothing designer. With very cute designs, clothing to boot! Recently though, I have grown more accustomed to seeing Milly handbags popping up here and there. I like them too! And I’m liking the most recent handbag I have stumbled upon from this designer. Introducing the Milly Darby Geo Tote!

Rebecca Minkoff is Mad About Mint

When I think of mint, I typically think of Easter. After all, it is a pastel color and Easter just screams pastel. Spring is almost over though, so you would think pastel colors would be going out the door here pretty soon. Rebecca Minkoff, however, seems to have other ideas. Take a look at her official website and you will see that she is mad about mint! And since mint is such a delicious color, I can see it hanging around until somewhere around Labor Day. Sounds like a fun way to put a little twist on your summer style! All that is left to do now is check out the selection of minty styles Rebecca Minkoff has to offer. You will find my favorites listed below!

Rebecca Minkoff Mint MAC Clutch
Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch. $295
The Morning After Clutch is one of my favorite old school Rebecca Minkoff styles. I love the dog leash clip detailing on the front, large stud feet on the bottom, and extra long chain strap. It is perfect for when you are on the go and it has plenty of room for your phone and other essentials.

Bag Designer Vicki von Holzhausen

A new designer has made their way into the world of handbags! Introducing Von Holzhausen! The handbag line was launched in Spring 2012 by mastermind Vicki von Holzhausen. Does her name sound familiar? It might not, but she is actually a famous designer from another realm. Fascinated with design since her childhood, von Holzhausen chose a career in advanced automotive design. She worked for Mercedes Benz, Audi, and General Motors and she is credited for the interior design of the Pontiac Solstice Convertible and the Saturn Sky Roadster. So if you own one of those, you are already familiar with her work!

Flight 001 Go Clean Beach Set

Flight 001 Go Clean Beach Set
Summer is almost here! I can hardly believe it, especially after this insanely cold spring. It is finally time for a little fun in the sun. So who is ready to hit the beach? I can see it now. Walking down the beach with sand between my toes as the surf splashes against my ankles. Ahhh! There is just one problem though. What to do with that wet swimsuit! And those sand-filled shoes! If you’re on a vacation somewhere, you certainly don’t want that stuff in your suitcase either. Well Flight 001 has a solution for that little problem! Introducing the Flight 001 Go Clean Beach Set!

Z Spoke Zac Posen Claudette Tassel Clutch

Black & Gold. How do you feel about that trend? Wait… is it a trend? Black and gold together has been around for a long time. However, every time this trend resurfaces, it looks and feels brand new. I suppose the look is different enough that it just feels refreshing. Usually when you see black and gold together, it is black leather with gold hardware. Nice! But I stumbled across a very interesting looking piece.

It’s black and gold alright, just not in the way most people would envision it. Introducing the Z Spoke Zac Posen Claudette Tassel Clutch!

Billykirk Schoolboy Satchel

Billykirk Schoolboy Satchel
I have been lusting after the Cambridge Satchel Company lately. I don’t know what the appeal is. There is just something about the way they look. Classic, vintage, and let’s not forget that schoolgirl (or boy?) -ish charm! Not to mention it looked like Clara on Doctor Who was carrying one. I can’t be certain since the camera never really focused on the bag, but it sure looked like one! But is the Cambridge Satchel Company the only designer out there that makes these schoolbag-inspired pieces? Perhaps my obsession should not focus on one designer, but the style instead. I came across a fairly new designer today (okay, they were founded in 1999) and they have just the look I was going for. Introducing the Billykirk Schoolboy Satchel!

Frye Skull Studded Tote

Frye Skull Studded Tote
When most bagistas think of skulls, they probably think of Alexander McQueen. While this designer is very well known for its skulls (particularly the skull clutches), there is another designer I still think of whenever skulls are mentioned. Does anyone remember Thomas Wylde? Whatever happened to that designer? It seems like they just fell off the face of the planet. I checked their website and there are new collections. So why am I not seeing them around anymore? Oh well, I suppose it doesn’t matter. The only reason I bring it up is because the bag you see here reminded me of Thomas Wylde (rather than Alexander McQueen). Meet the Frye Skull Studded Tote!

Anndra Neen Mirrored Gold Streak Alpaca Metal Box Clutch

Anndra Neen Mirrored Box Clutch
I don’t know a whole lot about Anndra Neen. However, what I do know is that this designer makes some very unique statement jewelry. Founders Phoebe and Annette Stephens take their inspiration from Egyptian motifs and Bauhaus graphics. Plus each piece is handcrafted by artisans in Mexico City using metal alloys such as alpaca silver. Beautiful! Never in my wildest dreams though did I think I would see a handbag from this designer. Did I miss something somewhere? When did Anndra Neen start making them? Oh well, it is a lovely surprise nonetheless and this particular piece has really caught my eye. Introducing the Anndra Neen Mirrored Gold Streak Alpaca Metal Box Clutch!
