Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Infinity Dots Collection

Louis Vuitton has faced off once again with the Contemporary Arts! The French luxury brand has collaborated with the Princess of Polka Dots, Ms. Yayoi Kusama, and has brought to us one of the most interesting collections yet. Japanese artist and writer Yayoi Kusama sees her life as “a dot lost among millions of other dots”. “Without beginning, end or center”, Kusama presents her designs as repetitious, infinite, and with much energetic vibe. Her signature pattern of spots on a solid background has captured the mind of Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, bringing their exciting affiliation to the world of fashion. Their vision is presented among some of Vuitton’s most classic collections.

Diane von Furstenberg Drew Suede Satchel

Diane Von Furstenberg nailed it this season with the Drew Suede Satchel. What’s not to love about it? Plus, the fact that the Drew’s arrive in means of multiple personalities is an absolute plus in my book!

Fellow BagBliss’er Marissa raved about the DvF Studded Drew, while I’m truly digging its just-as-attractive color block relative. The mash up of fall hues is eye-catching, but what really drove my interest about this piece is the refreshing collaboration of multiple textiles in one. The mixed leathers in a color block panel make a grand alternative to the fall classics. This trendy satchel hosts pebbled, textured, patent and suede leathers, creating a vintage and exotic feel.

The City Hobo by Tory Burch

It may still be scorching hot in your neck of the woods, but it’s evident in the world of Fashion that Fall is right around the corner. Soon it’ll be boots and sweater season, and arriving along the cool climate apparel are the dark and luxurious accessories.

Personally, I can’t wait to see the lace and the mauves, and of course the various versions of black accessories. A little darkness on the arm doesn’t have to be somber, instead, consider it a safe bet. For that reason, most of us gals have multiple black handbags in our closet and adding one more this season for that moments sake might not be such a bad idea.

Longchamp Paradise Duffel

Longchamp presents a true graphic print with the travel chic in mind through this lively printed duffle bag. “Greetings from Paradise The Land of Sunshine”, is read on this energetic voyager. The fashion pioneer behind this cheery design is American designer Jeremy Scott, who has become a celebrity favorite with his artistic and humorous designer trends. It’s nice to stray away from your typical solid duffels, but how much print is simply, too much?

Miu Miu Madras Jeweled Satchel

Miu Miu is known as the provocative and modern little sister of the grand House of Prada. There’s something uplifting, flashy yet sophisticated about Miu Miu, and we sure love it! I’m thrilled to see that gemstones aren’t strictly accessible to clutches and framed accessories only. Miu Miu agrees as they support precious stones on enlarged bags such as we see on their Madras Jeweled Satchel.

Sondra Roberts Woven Hobo ~ a Bottega Veneta Look-for-Less!

Interwoven leather fans know that this appealing technique on a handbag always comes off as feminine, striking and makes a great alternative to your typical leather accessory. I’m a fan of such textured accessories, they instantly up-notch your typical classic leather tote bag. No logos or flashy hardware is needed on these heavily textured pieces; the simple admiration of this technique is enough to draw bag-loving stares directly to its design.

Tory Burch Moonstone Maisey Tote

I’m obsessing over this new addition to the Tory Burch family; greet the pebbled-leather Maisey Tote in Moonstone. The Maisey would make a fresh selection to your summer needs. With such a rich navy hue, it can most definitely be incorporated into your fall/winter wardrobe as well. No need for the usual stripes and whites of the season as the minimal gold toned hardware against the royal blue supports a unique nautical vibe.

Balenciaga Padlock All Time Tote in Coquelicot

Since its debut in 2001 Balenciaga’s motorcycle collection was an instant hit amongst Bagista’s of all backgrounds. The variation of colored leathers, textures, tassels, hardware, and prints has popularized the collection quite strongly since its introduction. I’m one of those Bal-addicts who loves the Italian Houses edgy and discrete collection, I’ve pretty much given a nod of approval to everything they’ve revived and released.

Balenciaga presents a truly fierce edition this season; greet the Padlock All Time Tote. It’s Balenciaga’s modern version of the large, lady like structured handbags that are very much trending at the moment. Perfect for your retro-feminine style or as a bold statement to your office wear, this one will definitely stand out amongst the crowd.

Right now beach totes can be found in abundance but very few can actually exceed the cute margin and into the mesmerizing phase. Say hello to this ultra chic Piazzato Tote by Emilio Pucci. I’ve always been a fan of Pucci’s vibrant prints on clothing and accessories but when found on oversized summer ready totes, they’re even more electrifying!
