As we all know, I’m a huge Rebecca Minkoff fan. She’s one of my Top 3 favorite designers and everything she designs is flawless to me. One of my favorite designs by her is the “Pouch”. It’s simple, the colors it comes in are always pretty and the sayings featured on them are always adorable! As today is Sunday, May 12, which happens to be Mother’s Day I ran into the “Hot Momma” Pouch on Neiman Marcus and I thought it would be appropriate to write about. I may not to be a Mother, well I did adopt a cat seven years ago but that’s besides the point, but I do think this pouch is the perfect gift for someone that is or about to be. If I had seen this pouch before Mother’s Day I probably would have bought it for my Mom! Every Mom wants to be told they’re hot and what Mom doesn’t need a gorgeous little pouch to carry with them every single day?
Tis’ the season to carry white handbags and I’ve been carrying my Louis Vuitton Multicolor Speedy non-stop this Spring. White handbags are always pretty too own but I won’t lie you have to watch them non-stop and be extra careful with them. They can get dirty pretty easily but take a wet towel to clean them and your good to go. My favorite white bag at the moment is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Clear ‘Clearly’ PVC Bag.
The bag is extremely sophisticated and classy which is definitely my style. I’ve never really been into handbags that are see through. In this economy it’s probably not a good idea to have the things in your purse exposed. However, I love this bag and I think it’s super cute. I would just be extra careful about what is seen in the bag. Obviously you would never want your money or any credit cards floating around the bag. I think if you keep everything concealed in the bag you’re good to go!
I’m definitely into the whole zodiac and horoscope thing. In fact, I follow it pretty religiously and I have an app on my phone about it. I’m a Leo and I’m so proud to be a Leo. We really are eccentric beings and we love being different. I mean, two of the most famous Leo’s are Jennifer Lopez and Madonna. My birthday is August 6th and it’s funny to know that one of my favorite comedic actresses, Lucille Ball, shared the same birthday as me.
At the moment, I have a huge obsessed with Kate Spade and I think a lot of other fashion lover’s do too! I’ve known about Kate Spade for years but I feel like in the past year she’s really blown up! What I love about Kate Spade is that the brand exudes class but in a girly girl type of way. I personally think Kate Spade is probably the cutest designer brand out there and really lets women stay in touch with their ultra feminine side. I’m still dying to own the “Is this seat taken #Handsome Stranger” Tote. I wasn’t able to get my hands on one but it would have been perfect for school! It was pink, adorable and oh-so-me. Sigh, maybe one day I’ll bump into one!
At the moment, I’m into lots of pretty colors especially pastels. May I add that this is also incredibly odd because for at least for 3 years I was a black and white girl.
I kid you not 90% of my closet was black and white. I wasn’t morbid by any means but I just thought, and still do, black and white look so classy together. The colors really give an eye catching and sexy look when worn right and I love them.
However, recently I’ve been into color and I would say my closet looks like a rainbow right now. It’s full of bright and beautiful colors and I actually really like it that way. Let’s just see how long it lasts.
Sometimes though, I still like to keep it simple with a neutral look. Black and white are always a must and maybe a little bit of brown and tan. The Marc by Marc Jacobs Natural Distressed Canvas Tote is the perfect bag to pair up with an outfit that’s mostly neutral colors.
This bag is so classy and would look great when you are going for more of a sophisticated look. I love the way the bag closes and the mixture of the colors on bag is beautiful! Marc Jacobs always gives us stunning bags and this one is of no exception. It’s absolutely gorgeous and I wouldn’t mind owning this bag one bit!
For months, I was looking for the perfect tote to use for school. I had one but since the last guy I was dating bought it for me, I was in a rush to get rid of it and buy a new one. Just last week, a department store was having a huge sale and I was able to get a pink tote bag super cheap until I find one I really like.
As I was browsing around Shop Bop today looking for accessories to write about, I came across the Rebecca Minkoff “Palm Tree” Cherish Tote and of course I fell in love with it.
We all know I have a severe obsession with Rebecca Minkoff goodies and this tote just reminded me of Ft. Lauderdale, my hometown. Ft. Lauderdale is sunny, hot and full of palm trees. As soon as I looked at the tote, I thought that it looked like the beach that’s 5 minutes from my house.
I personally want a nice tote for school but totes can be used for anything! I personally think this tote is perfect for the Spring and Summer warmed months. However, I could see someone also using it during the Fall and Winter as a reminder that there are better days ahead when it’s freezing cold!
If you’ve read my blogs before, I’m sure you’re familiar with my obsession with evening bags. I’m the type of woman that if it was OK to dress to kill and look glamorous at every moment of the day, I would! How does a woman complete a glamorous look? With amazing accessories to finish off her look! I’m all about having beautiful bags and shoes because to me that’s what makes a look eye catching. People can like you’re outfit but most of the time they really zoom in on our accessories.
I have a thing for clutches and if money were no option my closet would be full of them. I was able to score two of the Marc Jacobs clutches that were sold at Target and Neiman Marcus for their designer collaboration during the holidays. I use them both non-stop and what I love about clutches is that you can use them so many ways. Sometimes I store all my makeup in them, important papers, different nail polishes or I carry my essentials in them for the day. They’re so versatile and that’s why the Clare Vivier “Basketweave” Oversized Flat Clutch. Basketweave looks pretty on just about any accessory but the color is also gorgeous. Together the stunning color and basketweave make a lovely clutch that’s perfect for the Spring and Summer.
Recently, my whole entire style changed. Therefore, I’ve been selling and giving away a lot of my stuff. I sold a majority of my handbags and I’m only down to my Louis Vuitton‘s, which are my precious babies and I’m not selling anymore of them! With that said, I’m currently dying for a black handbag because I sold all of mine! There are so many out there but yet none really catch my eye. However, when I saw the Burberry Orchard Heritage Satchel I was intrigued because I have never been into Burberry before. Burberry is known for their plaid prints and anyone that knows me personally knows I hate plaid. Don’t get me wrong, Burberry has beautiful plaid prints it’s just not for me. The “Heritage” Satchel is definitely my style though and I would love to own this bag.
