Tory Burch Steffi Tote

In case you haven’t noticed, Tory Burch has undergone some changes lately! Big changes! For the most part, I have really been liking what I’m seeing. And, judging from the increased coverage of this designer lately, I think my fellow bloggers agree. Personally, I really love the new shapes and less conspicuous logos. Marc by Marc Jacobs New Army Handhack

There’s this rumor going around that military-inspired pieces will be hot for Fall this year. So be prepared to see lots of navy blues, olive greens, and dove grays floating around! But is that such a bad thing? I mean, I really like neutrals that are a step away from the ordinary. Black is okay, but it gets kinda old after awhile. Jimmy Choo Studded Sylvia Grainy Bag

When it comes to investment piece handbags, I really like the vintage-inspired styles. In a way, it is sort of like evolution. Through trial and error, certain classic styles have been perfected to the point where there is little room left for improvement. Styles like that are sure to stick around for the long haul and really stand the test of time. So when I came across the Jimmy Choo Sylvia Grainy Nappa Tote, I knew that it was something worth investing some money into. This lovely, vintage-inspired silhouette features these dramatic cut-out handles that are sure to grab the attention of everyone in the room. What I like though is how Jimmy Choo adorned the handles inside and out with flattened pyramid studs. So cute! I also love the gently gathered leather body, which really helps to soften the shape of this bag so it doesn’t look too boxy.

Leigh & Luca New York Leigh Flock Hobo

Is it just me? Or does the nylon trend still seem to be going strong? I am still loving my nylon Gryson Skye, that is for sure! But what about a nylon bag that isn’t simply the nylon version of a style that is normally made of leather? Well I stumbled across this Leigh Flock Hobo from Leigh & Luca New York and it really got me thinking. I love the classic, slouchy hobo shape. The gentle pleating adds just the right amount of softness, while the detachable chain detail adds just a hint of toughness. Plus the rolled leather handle looks so comfortable. And accenting the dove gray nylon body is a black (flocked) print that depicts a flock of birds.
