Rebecca Minkoff Craig Camera Bag

Rebecca Minkoff Craig
I don’t know if this is necessarily a new trend, but I have noticed a lot of camera bag-inspired pieces floating around lately. Weird question… but do people actually use these bags as camera bags? I have always wanted a camera bag, but I really want to use it as a camera bag. The bags you find at the camera store are all really ugly. That is why I am really liking this sudden surge of camera bags from some of my favorite designers. I really love the one you see pictured here. Introducing the Rebecca Minkoff Craig Camera Bag!

Salvatore Ferragamo Ginny Bag

I’m an extreme girly girl and I love anything that’s overly feminine. With that said, I’m also obsessed with almost everything that has studs on it. Put studs on something girly looking and I will probably be in love with it! So I’m sure it comes as no surprise that when I saw the Salvatore Ferragamo “Ginny” Bag I instantly fell in love. It’ adorable, the color is super pretty and the studs give it some flare. Even the bow featured on the front of the bag had me at first sight!

Alexander McQueen Lattice Studded Skull Box Clutch

No one quite makes a clutch like Alexander McQueen. The amazing designer may have left us but his brand and designs are here to stay! It’s my dream to own a Alexander McQueen Skull Clutch and I’m determined to have one someday. I like bags that make a statement and the skull clutches are always unique looking. Every season the skull clutch gets revamped but at the moment I’m absolutely in love with the Lattice Studded Skull Clutch. Both the colors of the clutch and the hardware look stunning together! Of course the skull is the perfect finishing touch to such a beautiful bag.

Michael Kors Crocodile Blake Clutch

I remember a few years back I hated anything in the fashion world that was gold. At the time, I thought the color gold should only be seen on jewelry and that’s it. It was silly to me to see gold accessories, clothes and shoes. It just looked tacky and I couldn’t stand the metallic trend. Fast forward a few years from then and now I’m in love with it. I guess at the time we weren’t use to seeing metallic accessories so it was odd to me. Now metallic is everywhere, has been everywhere and will be everywhere for a while. Just last week I bought two Marc Jacobs metallic pouches for makeup. Metallic are gorgeous and sparkly and now I’m a die hard fan of it.

Reusable Designer Shopper Totes: Foley + Corinna, Karl Lagerfeld, Marni and Malene Birger

Ever since the Plastic Bag Ban Law here in Seattle passed I have been stocking up on shopper totes. I remember a few years ago when Anya Hindmarch kicked off the anti-plastic bag trend with her stylish “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” and ever since then designers and even departments stores (love the Norstrom’s Tote!) jumped on trend creating their own reusable totes. I probably have over 50 basic ones that I use when I go to the grocery store, that I don’t really care too much about and toss in the washer every so often. They do need to be washed occasionally!! However when I walk down to Pike Place Market here in Seattle I usually opt for something more fashionable, like my Burberry Check Market Tote or my Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs floral tote (yea, it’s a mouthful).

Here are a few of my favorite picks for reusable designer shopper totes. Featuring Foley + Corinna, KARL, Malene Birger and Marni.

Foley + Corinna Bon Voyage Additional Shopper. $82 (orig $165)
Oh my gersh you guys this one is on sale too. What I love about this Foley + Corinna reusable bag is that it folds up into a wristlet! Convenient.

Rebecca Minkoff “Don’t Bother Me” iPad Case

For Christmas, I bought myself an iPad mini. I tried to buy it when it first came out and it was sold out everywhere. I called stores everyday and dropped my electronic stores daily to try to get my hands on one. It was so hard to find one until I called a Best Buy in Miami and they had one 32GB White iPad mini left and they were willing to hold it for me since I had been struggling to find out. I originally wanted the 16GB but it was a dire emergency that I get one fast so I settled for the 32GB. I was wanted an iPad so bad because I am in Acting School and I have to buy books monthly. All my different teachers want me to buy different books that it was getting too costly. With an iPad mini not only are eBooks more affordable but I can also my notes in it and download apps for actors. I’m obsessed with my iPad mini, greatest invention ever!

With that said, I’m very picky when it comes to cases. I have to find one that I absolutely love. I looked for designer cases for about a week and being that the iPad mini is fairly new I couldn’t find one that I loved. I’m the type of person that unless I love something I won’t buy it. I ended up purchasing one on eBay that’s not designer but it’s baby pink and mint, which happen to be my two favorite colors. It’s gorgeous but I really want a designer case for it one day!
