Just last night I had a dinner party at my house to bid farewell to one of my best friends. It was classy and swanky with lots of food and drinks. Wine is the most ideal choice for any dinner party and a big bottle was brought by one of my friends. To my surprise, when the bottle was finished my friend grabbed the cork and put it in her purse. I asked her why she did that and she simply stated that she collected them. I’m sure it’s not uncommon to hear of people collecting the corks from wine bottles but for a moment it surprised me. You always hear of people collecting shoes, baseball cards, or even cars but corks? I had never heard of this before but I instantly thought it was interesting! She proceeded to tell me that she collects them and puts them in a jar as decoration in her house. So I guess corks have a fun use to them once you’re done with your bottles.

Marc Jacobs certainly loves his polka dots! The whimsical pattern has appeared in so many of his designs over the years. And while Marc Jacobs is no stranger to polka dots, it does appear he has taken a new interest in them recently. What do I mean by that? Anya Hindmarch Twinkle Glitter Two Tone Clutch – $579
This yummy clutch is definitely all that glitters! I love the boxy shape and zipper closure. It reminds me of a makeup bag, only 1000% cuter. The PVC exterior is coated in glitter and the interior is lined with suede. The tassel provides a nice touch as well. This clutch comes in a variety of color combinations, but my favorite is the midnight/plum! Gorgeous!

I’m usually in love with anything in the fashion world that is girly and feminine. Even as I get older, I still remain a girly girl and I’m still obsessed with pink! Most of my handbag collection isn’t too girly but I’m still craving to get a piece of the Louis Vuitton “Cherry Blossom” collection in pink. I see it pop up on eBay every now and then, but sometimes the prices are a bit outrageous for something that’s been used and isn’t in great condition.

The cutest little handbag I’ve seen in a while is the Christian Louboutin “Evita Pampas” Clutch. The lace design is drop dead gorgeous and the bow detail sold me! This bag would look stunning whether you carry it as a clutch or on your shoulder. The color is beautiful and isn’t a color that is only used during one season. This lets you use the bag all year long and that’s always good to hear. The more you can use a bag, the better!

I love bags that can be styled two different ways. At the moment, I can’t stop sporting a bag I bought at Michael Kors. It’s black leather, with gold hardware, can be carried as a clutch but it also has a gold chain so you can use it as a shoulder bag. It’s a tough economy and the more versatile a bag is the better! With the ability to carry it a variety ways you’re able to style it up with different outfits and at different times of the day.

The Maison Martin Margiela Leather “Fold Over” Tote is one of those bags. During the day you can use it as a casual tote but then you can fold it over and carry it as a clutch, which looks a little more stylish to me. I would personally would probably use it more folded over unless I was carrying something large and then I would have to use it as a tote.

Polka Dots have been everywhere this year. It’s a cute trend but I definitely couldn’t buy a ton of it. Even though I’m not a fan of carrying or wearing fur, I have to admit the Marc Jacobs ‘Too Hot To Handle’ Polka Dot Fur Bag is adorable. Anything I own that is polka dots is usually black and white. To me, black and white looks the best when it comes to polka dots and the two colors did justice for this bag.

This bag is perfect to carry around during these cooler months. When I see anything that’s fur I instantly think of the Fall and Winter seasons because fur is known to keep you warm. I remember walking down 5th Avenue in New York during the holiday season and tons of women would either have a fur coat or hat. I’m not fond of it but no one can deny how popular fur is.

Nothing is more beautiful than patent candy apple red. It is so slick and shiny, just like a candy apple. I absolutely love it on crossbody bags! The small size is perfect for such a flashy color. Plus I love the sweet little bow on this particular piece. It is just too cute!
