The Balenciaga First Basics: available in black supple distressed lambskin leather, signature buckle straps and studding in aged brass hardware, easy access front pocket (perfect size for your phone), and the amaz tassel pull tags. The dual whipstitched leather handles measure 12” with a 4” drop and the detachable leather shoulder strap that measures 15”. Once inside, you’ll find a simple fabric lined interior with a zip-pocket and leather framed 5” x 3¼” mirror attached. The main difference between this bag and it’s sister, the City, is the size. The First measures in at a petite 13” wide x 7” tall x 2.5” deep. It’s not a bad size at all. It would be a tight fit for just the necessities – the right size for your wallet, cosmetic pouch wallet and phone.

My first was the First too. I think the size is perfect. It’s small than all the other balenciaga bags, but for me it’s just right.

I use to collect the First as well as the City’s. They come in so many fun colors, how could not be drawn to that.

If you hadn’t identified this bag as Balenciaga, I would have thought it cost $39.99 at Kohls. It’s hideous.

Balenciaga RH bags are my FAVE! I love the tassels and Bal leather is oh so yummy – nothing can really compare. I love the look of the first but it is way too small for all that I carry.
