Balenciaga Gold Leggings – $100K!
Date Added: November 20, 2006
Balenciaga SS 07 Runway | Gold Leggings
$100,000 for leggings? Sad but true. Remember those gleaming bronze and shinny gold metallic robot leggings designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere worn at the Balenciaga S/S 2007 runway? Well the price to get your hands on a pair is $100k, by special order.
Even if I had $100k laying around I doubt I would spend it on leggings, but rather on a black Hermes 30cm bag made of Australian crocodile with diamond-encrusted hardware and the vibrant blue Zac Posen Alexia bag in crocodile.

WTF. I guess if someone had that much laying around and they didnt know what to do with it. But still, they look tacky and ugly!
Are those made of Gold Metal! YIKES!
Crazy….
OMG those leggings are so very hot. i love them. it seems hard to get into but i cant believe that there 1oo,ooo, i would totally buy those leggings if i could .
They are probably made out of gold and when it comes to gold, a person can’t just throw them around or they won’t last long, and since they are made of metal they probably have to be fitted to the person for comfort (assuming that was a consideration). But the one of the right doesn’t look like it’s 100% metal so why is it 100K? o_o
But I guess the price tag or the ‘by special order’ is so that someone that is a fashion victim doesn’t accidentally pick them up and have them look like a fashion disaster.
