Christian Louboutin Melides
There are few things in the fashion world that you can count on cycling every single year. But that is exactly what happens with nautical themed fashion items! Just like clockwork, the nautical theme stuff makes an appearance every year around this time. Personally, I don’t have anything against nautical themes… just as long as it is done tastefully. Anchors and sail boats? No, thank you! But something as simple as a blue and white stripe can give you the impression of a nautical theme, without going (hehe!) overboard! Take, for example, the Christian Louboutin Melides!
This bag just screams warm and sunny weather! I love how the vertical, blue and white stripes are thin instead of wide. They give the bag a very clean and crisp look. What I like about this bag is that nautical-chic feeling you get without having that traditional nautical look. This was achieved by including a little pop of color in the form of patent leather straps. Plus those pops of color are in unexpected shades such as magenta or lemon yellow! This tote would look great paired with crisp whites for a light and airy Spring look. Or if you’re ready to hit this beach, this piece could easily make the transition!

A++ in my book!
I like it, but that’s almost as much as the Louis Vuitton Neverfull. Which is also on my must have list. lol
I really like this bag, the style, stripes, color but the price is a bit high for me. Anyone know of a look for less
Great post my dear. I love the nautical trend. One of my favorite re-occurring trends.
There’s also a blue version right? I didn’t see it on the website, but I swear I saw that one while out shopping.
Yes, there is a blue version. It is the version I was writing about, actually. For some reason the red from Net-A-Porter is pictured. My Theresa has the blue version though.
Yes to the nautical theme
I reallly like this bag. But, I just have a rule about spending this much money on a non-leather bag. I just don’t do it.
I love the style! Nautical fashions seem to have their own special flair.
