“You Can’t Fake Fashion Bags” – The partnership began 3 years ago between eBay and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (aka CFDA) offering one-of-a-kind totes customized by 90 (you heard me, 90!) top fashion designers to raise awareness against counterfeit goods.
Time is running out. Less than 15 hours to go ~
Here are a few of my favorites, the most creative of the bunch that I’m following.

For years, I was the girl that loved big handbags. I kid you not, for the longest time I carried half my dresser in my bag. Instead of putting just my essentials in my bag I carried all my makeup, makeup brushes, magazines, an agenda, two wallets, a hair brush, hair accessories, etc. You name it and I probably had it in my bag. Now that I’m older I’m much more minimal. The most I carry is my phone, a compact, a lip stick and my keys. With that said, I like smaller bags much better now. When you don’t carry much with you on a daily basis a bigger bag is pointless. Smaller bags keep all my essentials organized and I don’t have to go searching for anything.

Got a working gals name on your gifting list? Whether it’s a mother, sibling, daughter or yourself; if climbing the corporate ladder is an ultimate goal, along with brains and skills come the attire and its fashion staples. We’ve picked out four great accessories that’ll complete any chic office style, each vary in composition and price range.
The 440 Top Handle by Diane von Furstenberg makes a great pick for the gal who would appreciate professionalism with much room ($645). This polished bag arrives oversized and is capable of holding medium sized gadgets comfortably.
If you like the DvF look but prefer something more petite, Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Flipping Dots Tote carries the similar sophisticated concept ($528). Oversized dots play up this satchel and its horizontal silhouette gives this piece a dramatic balance.

I love Botkier handbags, but it seems Monica has been going in a different direction lately. The new styles that she has been turning out are so different from anything I have seen from her before. Now don’t get me wrong, I am certainly not saying I haven’t been liking what I am seeing. In fact, I happen to think Botkier’s new look is pretty darn spiffy (yes, I did just say spiffy). Just take a look at the Botkier Lucy Bag, I think you will see what I mean!

We all remember that movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic. Rebecca Bloomwood while trying to overcome her expensive addiction freezes her credit cards in a giant block of ice that she breaks into because of a fashion “emergency,” a huge sale! If you took note from that movie and started freezing your cards, grab an ice pick and start hacking away – It’s The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

Just heard about this great summer sales that’s happening now over at Bluefly. Take an extra 20% off all regular priced items or 40% off items that are already reduced with the code FAMILY

I love Botkier handbags! They are so stylish and affordable, what isn’t there to like? They have been so popular among celebrities too. Whether it is on the arms of celebrities or everyday people walking down the street, there is one bag I haven’t seen very much of and that is the Botkier Eden Satchel. There were some magazine advertisements featuring the color-blocked version and then… nothing. Well, I stumbled across the latest version of this lovely style and couldn’t believe my eyes. Meet the Botkier Quilted Eden Satchel!

Above is Monica Botkier modeling her very own Brinks bag. I remember back when this bag was introduced with the Fall 2011 collection, I was instantly obsessed!

Stop whatever you’re doing this at this moment and rust on over to The Bag Forum and sign up to win the gorgeous new Botkier Valentina Satchel in blush!
I personally have been obsessing over this bag (in the mint) ever since I first glanced at the Botkier Spring 2012 Bag Lineup. It’s definitely one of my favorite bags out this Spring and made it’s way onto the top of my dream wishlist!
