Botkier Lucy

I love Botkier handbags, but it seems Monica has been going in a different direction lately. The new styles that she has been turning out are so different from anything I have seen from her before. Now don’t get me wrong, I am certainly not saying I haven’t been liking what I am seeing. In fact, I happen to think Botkier’s new look is pretty darn spiffy (yes, I did just say spiffy). Just take a look at the Botkier Lucy Bag, I think you will see what I mean!

I have always had a thing for mustard yellow handbags. For some reason I think it looks so sophisticated. But if yellow isn’t your cup of tea, the Lucy also comes in black and berry purple. I love the crossbody style and flap closure. However, nothing catches my eye more than the contrasting trim. I just love the overall look and feel it gives this bag. It looks very vintage-inspired. I also like the barbell hardware on the front. So darling! This lovely little bag would look great paired with other colorful pieces. I happen to like the look of mustard yellow and cobalt blue together! Wow, what a great look for this coming fall!
