Madewell Lil Briefcase Bag

Every time I go to New York I’m in awe with the way the women and men dress. I always look outside my hotel room every morning to see people scurrying to get to work in their business attire. I absolutely love when I see a woman in a pencil skirt and carrying a briefcase. I don’t know what it is about it, but I love that look. It’s classy and somewhat sexy I suppose.

When I saw the Madewell “Lil Briefcase” Bag, I was instantly in love! What I liked the most about it, is that it kind of has a vintage look to it! Always exciting when you find a brand new piece that emulates a vintage look.

By looking at the stock photo’s it doesn’t look like you can fit much in it, but it’s adorable! I would imagine the most you could fit in this bag is a cell phone, wallet and a lip stick that’s probably about it. I’m also usually not a fan of shoulder straps but it looks fabulous on this tiny briefcase. I guess because the purse is so small that it’s not upstaged by the strap.

I personally would love to grab a cute pencil skirt, a vintage looking top and carrying this bag around all day! I’ve always said, I thought I was born in another era. Seems like my fashion sense is starting to love more of an old school look too! Huge fan of the “Lil Briefcase” but I’m a bigger fan of the price! Can we say, Christmas List? A+!
