Burberry Handbags & Purses

Burberry Orchard Heritage Grain Leather Satchel

Recently, my whole entire style changed. Therefore, I’ve been selling and giving away a lot of my stuff. I sold a majority of my handbags and I’m only down to my Louis Vuitton‘s, which are my precious babies and I’m not selling anymore of them! With that said, I’m currently dying for a black handbag because I sold all of mine! There are so many out there but yet none really catch my eye. However, when I saw the Burberry Orchard Heritage Satchel I was intrigued because I have never been into Burberry before. Burberry is known for their plaid prints and anyone that knows me personally knows I hate plaid. Don’t get me wrong, Burberry has beautiful plaid prints it’s just not for me. The “Heritage” Satchel is definitely my style though and I would love to own this bag.

Graphic Art Bags: Burberry & Alaia

This has been brewing for a little while now. I will see a black and white print handbag popping up here and there. I have even written about a few. At first I thought it was a “spring fling” of sorts. But it looks like the graphic art trend is going to stick around for at least the rest of the year. You know me though, I love things that draw you in. Handbags are so much more fun that way! So naturally, I’m finding myself liking this trend. I love the bold black and white stripes. But I’m also loving the geometric prints. They are so tantalizing, almost hypnotic! Plus they look great paired with solids… no matter what the color. Below are a couple of pieces that have particularly caught my eye. Check them out!

Burberry Prorsum Herringbone Raffia Clutch
Graphic art and raffia? Who knew? This lovely clutch is from Burberry Prorsum’s 2012 Cruise Collection. I love the flap closure and its raw edges. The print is a bit busy, but I think the black leather belt grounds the look nicely. Perfect for those semi-dressy occasions where you don’t want to look too stuffy.

Burberry Raffia Whipstitch Tote

image: burberry.com
Burberry’s inner artisan is revealed as they welcome the warmer climates with their Whipstitch Bag, a true Prorsum beauty. The whipstitch / woven feature is yearned by many during the spring and summer season, along with the color-blocking trend that is highly popularized right now. Fuse these two trends together and you’ll get this unusual yet colorful collaboration that is sun ready.

It’s obvious that this isn’t your typical Burberry accessory as the Houses classic plaid is visibly absent, but the raffia blend offers a distinct choice of palette. This tote can be effortlessly paired with casual or dress attire, and with the light to dark hue variation, you can carry this shoulder bag throughout the year.

Burberry Printed Cotton Canvas Shoulder Bag

Variation is always good and it seems like the House of Burberry believes so too. Just check out the talent portrayed on this shoulder bag. I’m stunned at the unexpected tote bag the British brand presented this season; meet the Printed Cotton Canvas & Leather bag. With a name like Printed Cotton Canvas, I was expecting something as little less striking with not so much detailing. This is definitely a diverse change from the classic plaid designs that House is best known for. This bohemian gem to the Burberry family arrives exotic, mysterious and in disguise. The encircling patterns perform an unusual design throughout a sturdy cotton canvas body and the spice colored leather trim stands out finely against this dark artistic piece. With its warm and earthy hues, I can see this tote being carried throughout spring/summer evenings and on a daily basis during the fall/winter seasons.

Get Your Tweed On: Red Valentino & Burberry

Trendy and stylish tweed is a fabric I have struggled with in the past. I can’t come about its rough and heavy texture, plus, my skin detects when tweed is around as it automatically rejects any tweed article by threats of an endless itch-feast! Regardless, I can’t deny the unique and classic interwoven designs the texture creates. Plus, the overall vibe of tweed calls out Fall/Winter wear, which I’m anxiously waiting on here in South Texas. Two European fashion houses present lovely yarn designs that fit the holiday festive just perfectly.

Red Valentino presents the cross body-bucket designs of the Tweed Drawstring. This cinched accessory arrives adorned in a multicolor pattern of red, white and black colored yarns and the black glossy leather trim makes this piece stand out even more.
