Burberry Runway Ruched Plaid Purse
The House of Burberry never falls short of adding some kind of unusual feature to their signature collection, in attempt to spice up the classic check print. In the past, we’ve seen both miniature and bold check lines, in a variety of hues and funky patterns such as what we saw in their Check Heart Satchel.
New to this season, Burberry’s twist on its classic signature is literally twisted. What a way to change the look of a bag by grabbing its ruched cotton material by the hand full and creating some type of curtain or home furnishing feel. Personally, I find the idea of changing things up a bit is always great, but if not successfully done for the better, it might appear as a bad knockoff or designer inspired piece. Of course when you’re spending $750 on such a bag, the last thing you want is for another bagista to question the authenticity of your handbag. A lovely sophisticated shape this small/medium pouch carries, as it’s just the size for your most important needs, and the thick rolled leather handle adds a classy feel to this shoulder bag. What’s your input on this Burberry? For $750, I’d be much better off with the appeal of the classic print rather than something so trendy.

I think it’s a cute twist on an old classic actually! The uber thick handle though is what bugs me, it just looks too clunky for the teeny delicateness of the bag.
There isn’t really much going on for my style. I love the all studded version, does that one come in black?
Beautiful purse. I really must have it. The only feature I’m not crazy about is the pipe handle, it reminds me of cheap-knockoffs. I guess the clutch or wristlet is more my thing.

This is a cute clutch for a teenager, but the strap is too thick. It looks like it belongs on a larger handbag not a clutch.
