Burberry Star Spangled Classic Check Satchel

Stars, stripes and Burberry. The British House adds a cluster of stars to their classic satchel shape. Come to think about it, this brings back memories of middle school years where drawing stars on everything not considered a vandalization, was a must. The classic check design arrives decorated with multi-sized white stars and matching white patent leather trim, making it a perfect little satchel for the warmer days of the year.

Although both designs are too juvenile and not my cup of tea, I’d have to say the stars check seems more practical in comparison to Burberry’s seasonal hearts. I wouldn’t call this a year-round piece, but I can most definitely say you would make a true statement taking this piece out on your upcoming Fourth of July celebration. I’m liking the detachable shoulder strap that allows carrying convenience, but there’s something about those over extended handles that makes this bag look awkward. Perhaps if the handles were closer to the frame this piece wouldn’t be deceived as a replica.
