The new, for a limited time only Tartan line by Burberry has arrived. The design tartan is described as a striped pattern of varying widths and colors crossed at right angles against a solid background, each forming a distinctive design. History says that members of Scottish clans wore these designs. If you looked in my glossary section you would have known that. With that said you could paint a pretty picture in your mind as to the inspiration and design of these bags and how it all comes together. The Tartan collection comes in wool with brown-pebbled leather trim and straps.

Tartan silk is delicious and the tweed ones have amazing Indonesian batik appliques – really different – yum!
