Get Your Tweed On: Red Valentino & Burberry
Trendy and stylish tweed is a fabric I have struggled with in the past. I can’t come about its rough and heavy texture, plus, my skin detects when tweed is around as it automatically rejects any tweed article by threats of an endless itch-feast! Regardless, I can’t deny the unique and classic interwoven designs the texture creates. Plus, the overall vibe of tweed calls out Fall/Winter wear, which I’m anxiously waiting on here in South Texas. Two European fashion houses present lovely yarn designs that fit the holiday festive just perfectly.
Red Valentino presents the cross body-bucket designs of the Tweed Drawstring. This cinched accessory arrives adorned in a multicolor pattern of red, white and black colored yarns and the black glossy leather trim makes this piece stand out even more.
The Christie Shoulder Bag by Burberry Prorsum arrives with the same hues and textile choices, except a lot more structured. Chevron stripes are composed through multicolored yarn and shiny patent leather. This boxy silhouette carries a mesmerizing graphic design that’ll stand out all winter season. Gold toned hardware, buckles, and a chunky braided shoulder handle are more features this Burberry beauty carries.
Although different, both grasp a rich cold-climate craftsmanship and are perfectly sized for those who want to try the tweed trend a bit at a time.
Over at Saks Fifth Avenue shop Burberry Prorsum and Tweet Red Valentino goodies

Where’s Chanel? LoL. A tweed Chanel bag for me please.
Hey did you see the Red Valentino tweed shoes? They have them in flats and heels and they are amazing. Thinking of getting the flats but I haven’t seen them in person yet and there’s a couple not so good reviews on saks.
I like tweed bags, but I LOVE tweed jackets.
