I admit, I do not have a green bag for St. Patricks Day. *gasps* Although if I planned ahead a little bit better, I would probably be rocking one of the beauties below. St. Pattys Day kinda just crept up on me this year.

So here, pictured below are my favorite green bags of the season.

Kotur Renna Clutch in green snakeskin.
This is the best deal on the web. Over at Gilt Groupe they’re throwing a Kotur sample sale event, featuring lovely little exotic pieces for bundles off the original price tag.

The small green snakeskin Renna features a frame opening with hidden magnetic closure, and when popped open reveals the signature brocade interior lining with single slip pocket. Measures: 6.5″ length x 3″ height x 1″ width. The Renna comes in other colors as well, including blue, red gold and bronze.

Another deal alert coming your way and it’s Balenciaga! The Weekender in green is on sale right now over at Bluefly, but not for long. It’s been a while since I’ve fallen for a bag by Olivia Harris. Like atleast a couple years. And I think they have a hit on their hands. In my opinion this bag is such a MUST HAVE in the dusty rose. It’s like beyond gorgeous.

The boho luxe bag features washed lambskin, double shoulder straps, antiqued brass hardware, front zip pocket, and very cute tassel charm detail. Sondra Roberts ‘Grape’ Kiss Lock Clutch

Ahh… the clutch! Every girl should own at least one great clutch for that formal occasion or night out in town. The fun idea of a clutch is that it’s an acceptable way to carry trendy or very eye catching designs that you normally wouldn’t encounter on an everyday handbag. Take for example the ‘Grape’ Kiss lock clutch by Sondra Roberts, cool concept and very unique indeed, but I can’t imagine running into someone carrying this design, say on a large tote bag.

Who knows, maybe there’s someone out there really digs the grape-like cluster of this piece. As you fill this clutch up with your necessities, its body, which consists of round silk beads, increases in size creating an even more vivid appearance. The first thing that comes to mind is that 3-D pin head toy that most people can’t resist sculpting their hands and faces on, the more pressure you apply, the larger the image size gets. What do you ladies think about its concept? I say cool, but I’m not so sure that it’s best seen on a clutch. This clutch arrives in your choice from three colors of black, pink, or champagne, a crystallized kiss lock closure and a sharp squared shaped top. If you can wear this clutch a significant amount of times, then the $148 price tag sure is fairly reasonable.

Burberry Runway Ruched Plaid Purse

The House of Burberry never falls short of adding some kind of unusual feature to their signature collection, in attempt to spice up the classic check print. In the past, we’ve seen both miniature and bold check lines, in a variety of hues and funky patterns such as what we saw in their Check Heart Satchel.

New to this season, Burberry’s twist on its classic signature is literally twisted. What a way to change the look of a bag by grabbing its ruched cotton material by the hand full and creating some type of curtain or home furnishing feel. Personally, I find the idea of changing things up a bit is always great, but if not successfully done for the better, it might appear as a bad knockoff or designer inspired piece. Of course when you’re spending $750 on such a bag, the last thing you want is for another bagista to question the authenticity of your handbag. A lovely sophisticated shape this small/medium pouch carries, as it’s just the size for your most important needs, and the thick rolled leather handle adds a classy feel to this shoulder bag. What’s your input on this Burberry? For $750, I’d be much better off with the appeal of the classic print rather than something so trendy.

There’s nothing like a great neutral handbag in an ultra classic shape. That’s why I absolutely love the latest version of the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Paglia Boston Tote! What I like most about this bag is the interesting spin Bottega Veneta has placed on their signature woven leather style. Marc by Marc Jacobs Quilty Denim Lila Bag

It might not be the textile preference for most and even though I don’t own one myself, I am guilty of liking denim handbag… or should I say I’m quilty about it. Just like your perfect pair of denim jeans, Mr. Jacobs creates this ultimate fun day bag that’s practical to take on errands or outings; introducing the Quilty Denim Lila Hobo for the Marc by Marc Jacobs line.

It is a bit awkward to think that quilted denim would look decent in any manner until you actually spot something quite interesting, such as the Lila Hobo with its hexagon shaped patterns of puffy denim. I would say the very washed down shade of blue helped the overall appearance of this hobo, I can’t imagine this bag looking so great in dark denim as from a distance, it might resemble the unflattering look of a bundled up jean jacket hanging off your shoulder.

Key details of a top single rolled and detachable body strap allows you to carry this hobo at your choice of length. More attention grabbing details of pleats, beads on tassels, the signature plaque and a hint of more geometric patterns in purple creates a cool casual feel as well.

Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Angie’ Floral Shopper Tote

What do you think about a bag within a bag? Might sound like nonsense to some, or like the latest and trendiest style to hit the purse world to others. Although Dolce & Gabbana isn’t the first house to present the bag-in-bag style, do meet their version, the ‘Miss Angie’ Shopper, new to their 2010 Cruise Collection.

I can see how you can sway either way of giving this a thumbs up or thumbs down. You might see this as one elegant and feminine shopper, or simply an expensive interpretation of a drawstring laundry bag within a flowery tote bag. From a distance, it might be difficult to distinguish that the material of choice is in fact leather throughout, from the clinched drawstrings to the exterior shopper.

Besides its quality, another reasonable feature to hike up the price on a luxury good is based on craftsmanship, and this bag has a bit more labor work to it than the usual, as the floral details found on this shopper are actually hand painted. I love the concept, even though this Dolce & Gabbana seems a bit too high maintenance for my lifestyle. Derek Lam Nadia Hobo

The Derek Lam Nadia Leather Hobo is getting a lot of attention by many style savvy professionals. Rachel Zoe has lauded this bag on her blog and other fabulous bloggers are writing about this sharp and edgy bag. A fact that caught my attention after I started to research it! So, this review is definitely due for our readers! Others are lauding the beautiful, unique, soft and subtle hues of the tie-dye version for $3,950 at Derek Lam or the basic but sleek black version of this bag. However, the dark brown cognac color is the one that really spoke to me as a bag you could carry every day!

At first glance, I’m a tad bit reminded of the bag Anne Hathaway carried in Devil Wear’s Prada, but in reality it is a balanced bag with asymmetrical details. The off-kilter front pocket adds a wonderful graphic architectural element to this sophisticated vertical hobo styling. I adore the movement and softness of the tassle which is absolutely the perfectly length to balance the bag. Some tassles are overpowering and oversized for their bag but this one is just right in my humble opinion!

The double shoulder straps have a 7″ drop so it will fit nice and close to your body without bouncing off your hip which is a major pet-peeve of mine! A bag that sits on the side of your hip will emphasize your hips. Good for some body types, but not all. The side zipper pocket keeps must-have items easily accessible. And the magnetic closure keeps interior items secure. Inside, there is a zipper pocket with two open pockets. Small brass details really stand out without being overpowering. The structure of the bag speaks for itself!

The color is rich and perfect for many seasons of wear. I adore the fact that this bag is so versatile for your wardrobe so you really get a lot of bang for your $1190 bucks from Saks Fifth Avenue

See by Chloe Funny Love Shoulder Bag

Ever since the See by Chloe line was introduced, I have never been much of a fan. To tell you the truth, some of the bags were just plain weird. In fact, I believe I once compared a See by Chloe bag to a toy that is made for horses. So you can imagine my surprise when I stumbled across a bag from See by Chloe that wasn’t… well, weird.

And I think I am prepared to go as far as saying it is a style that I could see myself actually wearing. Introducing the See by Chloe Funny Love Shoulder Bag!

This bag is clean, simple, and it comes in a nice neutral color. But it isn’t without interesting detail either! I think the small removable pouch that fits snugly inside the front pocket is adorable (it sort of reminds me of Juicy Couture). I also like how the sides of the bag are cinched with little bows. Plus, the butterfly print lining is just too cute!

My only gripe is the See by Chloe label that has been neatly affixed to the pouch flap. However, I think that can easily be remedied by placing the pouch (since it is removable) inside the main compartment of the bag. So if you’re looking to get your hands on a piece of See by Chloe, then I would definitely recommend this piece!
