From Day to Night: MK Olsen Loves her Prada Fringe Purse
Any occasion is a good occasion for Mary Kate Olsen to sport her Prada Fringe Purse and her Chanel Gladiator Sandals. I know I have said in the past on here and in the bag forum that I’m not a fan of the Prada Fringe, well mostly because I’m just not a huge fan of fringe, but MK looks hot with the bag, in both pictures. I love MK’s style and I think she looks fab in her day and night attire with the Prada Fringe Purse. (I just know a lot of you are going to disagree with me, lol)

The Chewbacca-looking beast-bag was introduced to the house of Prada back in spring 2007. The bags outfit consists of hundreds of dangling hairy-like fringe tassels that part down the middle to reveal the triangular Prada eye. Spot it today on eBay where it retails for a hefty $2,495.

Mary Kate Olsen Loves Her Vintage Chanel Purse
MK with her timeless white vintage - It’s an oldie but a goodie.

Just because a handbag is from a previous season doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s out dated. Especially when it comes to the classic styling of Chanel designer handbags. They will be in style for ever…

Mary-Kate Olsen with Miu Miu Pleated Tie-Dye Clutch
Spotted: Posing for the camera’s at a recent dinner hosted by Nadja Swarovski in honor of the nominees and honorees of The 2007 CFDA Fashion Awards, Mary-Kate was snapped with the new Miu Miu Pleated Tie-Dye suede oversized clutch in hand.

This new line is available in an assortment of sizes from oversized clutches to gigantic duffle looking satchels (with the Boston handheld bag in between), and come in a variety of colors from wild looking tie-dye to plain print-less leather (with metallic in between).

I’m not that impressed with the tie-dye version, with the exception to Mary-Kates’s red on black suede oversized clutch. All of the other versions, especially the light color bags that feature a dark psychedelic print, look to me like a washer disaster or a pen explosion. I am though definitely a fan of the solid print-less Miu Miu bags, with the exception of MK’s. I love the pleated detailing - it’s just the right finishing touch.

A couple days ago, purse borrower Mary-Kate published in the new york times style magazine about her bag borrowing ways with her sister Ash. . . “I borrowed it from my sister Ashley. I wore it to an event and never gave it back. Luckily, she’s moved on to another bag, so I’m safe for now. I’m not quite sure how many bags I have, but let’s just say I have a few. When I find a bag I like, I tend to wear it to death until I become obsessed with another one. This probably happens three to five times a year.”

Hum, I wonder if she ever gave back that gorgeous red Bottega Veneta (bo-tay-ga ve-ne-tah) clutch she borrowed back in January.

eBay Alert: Olsen Twins with Bottega Veneta Purse
Spotted: Two billionaire celebrity twin sisters with the same red hot Bottega Veneta (bo-tay-ga ve-ne-tah) woven evening bag.

I wonder if the sister duo Mary-Kate Elizabeth and Ashley Fuller Olsen share their designer handbags. Reason why I ask this, look-ie above it’s the Olsen twins on two separate occasions both carrying around the flat Bottega Veneta handcrafted intrecciato woven leather pattern evening purse. It’s lovely isn’t it. It’s impossible for me to choose who it looks best with . . they both look hot with the bag.

eBay Alert: I can’t believe I located one on eBay! I couldn’t find one in red, but the seller susan222-222 has the same oversized Bottega Veneta clutch in black up for auction with an entry bid of $650 and a buy it now price of $700. Times running out, only about a day left so hurry-hurry. Happy Bidding!!!

The pictures above were taken before the duo made a trip to the hair stylist. If you don’t keep up with the MKA Olsen Twin News - Mary Kate went lighter and Ashley went darker. Then over the this last weekend Ashley went back to being a blonde.
