Rebecca Minkoff has been reinventing her collection lately. I am loving all of the fresh, new styles! For her Spring 2012 Collection, she is bringing back fringe, stripes, and (you guessed it) studs! As you know, I am especially partial to studs on handbags. It’s no surprise then that my favorite new piece is the Rebecca Minkoff Moonstruck Hobo!
Whenever I think of Juicy Couture, I envision accessories that are pink and very girly looking. If you’ve ever been to the Juicy Couture store, I’m sure you would agree with me when I say it’s a bubble gum pink boutique! The store kind of remind me of what a room in Barbie’s house would look like. I don’t own very many things by Juicy Couture but I can tell you that each piece is, pink!
While browsing on Shop Bop I came across the Juicy Couture “Eleanor” Neoprene Bag. At first glance I would of never of thought it was by Juicy Couture because it doesn’t look like something the brand would typically design. In fact I was shocked to see it was designed by Juicy Couture. It wasn’t pink, bubbly or loud. I thought it was actually quite classy.
I don’t think I could ever stop loving my Foley + Corinna Mini City Tote! Not only is it one of my favorite colors (fuchsia), it is a versatile style that is perfect for everyday. Its unusual design seems to grab some attention around here as well. As much as I love my Mini City Tote though, I haven’t been paying too close attention to Foley + Corinna lately. So what has this designer been up to? What I found was pretty darn impressive… although I may be a bit partial considering I love my own bag from this designer so much! Here’s what I found though. Studio 54, The Bee Gees, disco balls, big hair, and slinky dresses. This bag has me thinking about disco in all it’s glory! Marc Jacobs aptly named this new bag for the Marc line the D4 Disco Jane. I don’t know what the D4 references, but I totally get the Disco!
Lately, I’ve been carrying bags that are on the smaller side. Do I like smaller bags? No, but for being an incredibly unorganized person it keeps me more neat and tidy. Whenever I carry a larger bag, within 2 days it looks like World War III took place inside so it’s better for me to stick to the smaller ones. However, I still have appreciation for large handbags especially ones that are reasonably priced!
I may be turning into a classy fashionista but I will always have a soft spot for edgy fashion. The whole rocker chick look is so trendy and fashionable looking. Wearing leggings, a hot top, fierce heels and a gorgeous black leather bag with gold hardware will always be my outfit of choice. Of course though, as you grow older you have to step up your fashion game a notch and dress appropriate to your age. Classy it is, but sometimes I will rock my edgy look.
As stated on their brand site, 3.1 Phillip Lim’s focus is providing beautiful everyday classics with touches of madness resulting in cool, easy chic styles for both men and women. The Crossbody Camera bag is exactly that: cool and chic. However, I don’t see any madness to it at all!
