New to the scene over at Zappos, Dooney & Bourke handbags! One little fabulous essential that caught my eye is the Nylon Triple Zip Flat Cosmetic Pouch from the new Summer 2009 Sport Duck Collection, the Fabric Line.
Details: This spacious nylon pouch will keep all your little personals neatly organized. Features 3 separate compartments: one main one on the top which is zipper protected then two front exterior zip pockets for the little stuff. The interior is lined with hot pink material. Now for the most important point, dimensions: 7 1/4″ wide x 1/2″ deep x 5″ high.
The price.. ready to be blown away. A thrifty thrill, the Sport Duck Purse retails for only $30!
The pouch above is the little accessory to the new Sport Duck collection, bags freckled with the silhouette of a sleepy mallard duck. To be honest I don’t think this style is that bad on the Large Overnight Duffle style. It has a sort of vintage vibe to it, which I draws me in. And the price is ridiculously reasonable – only $148!
Side Note: It is very rare for me to actually come out posting about a D&B style that I like. When I think of the brand the first image that comes to mind is cartoon sketched, color crayoned bags from the Grafic Line, which is obviously targeted towards the preteen market. I’m in my early (come tomorrow, mid) 20’s, with a taste for designer items. So you wont see me prancing in my Prada Pumps down the street in a Dior Dress with a Dooney Bumble Bee or Candy Wrappers bag on arm. It would never happen.
However of course there are other styles, such as the more classic Leather Line, for those who simply don’t like cartoon images. Like for example the Dooney & Bourke Calf Large Zipper Pocket Sac.. simple, functional as a perfect day bag, comes in some stylish colors and most importantly there is no crayoned in graphic images. By the way, it’s currently on sale for only $185!

Prada, what have you guys been up to lately? To tell you the truth, I haven’t been paying a whole lot of attention. They make some of the nicest handbags I have ever seen, I just wish they had a little more pizazz to them. The same shapes keep reappearing year after year, with just a tiny little change here or there. I don’t know about you Bag Bliss readers out there, but I would really like to see some fresh new designs from this designer.
Now I’m not saying Prada isn’t good at providing their customers with the basics. They make wonderful nylon cosmetic cases and other small accessories. Great for every day, just toss them in your bag and go! And if you really want to sweeten the deal, then check out this Prada Flip Flops and Cosmetic Case Set I found! I apologize to any See by Chloe fans out there, but I can’t justify buying any of their overprized accessories, overall, they’re not so impressive. I have yet to run into something I must have, but today, something did catch my attention.
Just check out the killer message found on this pouch. Want to take a wild guess at what the name of this piece is? Yes, you pretty much guessed it; meet the Dance or Die Pouch by SBC. So someone at SBC headquarters threw a joke onto this pouch and I can’t help but wonder if I’m the only one that doesn’t get it? Illustrated on canvas is the message that seems to be coming from a phonograph record player, as if it were music to the owner’s ears. I personally don’t find this attractive, but I do like the variety of colors you can choose from.
You can’t go wrong with a simple canvas accessory, as this piece is. It looks supportive and roomy enough for small essentials. Although I do hate how the $95 price tag is nowhere near convincing; otherwise, these would make really cute gifts.

Spring is here! Okay, okay… maybe not quite, but close! And what better way to celebrate the coming of Spring than getting yourself a bright and colorful accessory? Personally, I love colorful accessories. Things that you can put inside your basic black or brown bag, only to find it joyously peaking out you when you look inside. Yep, it’s little things like that that can really brighten up your day. So how about the Hayden-Harnett Carryall Cosmetic Bag? My ultimate favorite handbag is the Louis Vuitton Multicolor Speedy 30. I’m even lucky enough to not only own one but to live in Florida, a state where I can pretty much carry it 365 days a year if I wanted to. I try to carry my Multicolor Speedy 30 as much as I can, I even carried it today!
No matter what handbag I carry on any given day, I am always the type of person to put as much as I can in my handbag. For some reason, I can not walk out the door unless I have “certain” items with me.
Those “certain” items I can not leave my house without are my: Dolce & Gabbana eye glasses and sunglasses; Louis Vuitton change purse, cosmetic pouch, and wallet; Juicy Couture flash drive; keys; cell phone; hair clip; pretzels; and iPod.
I am a designer junkie, but the one thing out of all those items listed above that I can not go anywhere without is actually my Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses! I got them for such a great deal at Nordstrom, that I literally don’t let them leave my side!
My question to you is, “What’s in your handbag?” Do you pack your handbag with designer goods? Do you carry as little or as much as you can? Do you carry anything that is considered a “norm” or interesting? What are the things that must always be in any purse you carry?

Typically, I fall for anything that features a butterfly on it. Butterflies have always reminded me of love for some reason. When I saw the Comme des Garcons Butterfly Pouch I instantly fell in love with it. Not only did the pouch feature butterflies on it but because it was a shade of pink too! The measurements of the Comme des Garcons Butterfly Pouch are 6.5″H x 8.5″L. Yes, the pouch is very small but looks like it would be great for carrying a little bit of makeup or important papers. The pouch also has eight inch zipper closure and leather lining. If you are the type of bagista that likes carrying a pouch in your purse for whatever reason, the Comme des Garcons Butterfly Pouch is definitely a cute pouch that looks very different than most pouches out there. The best part is that the Comme des Garcons Butterfly Pouch is on sale! The pouch is currently on sale over at Shop Bop for $74, which is a great price compared to its original price. Also, if you are not in love with the pinkish natural shade don’t worry because the pouch also comes in black, which is also very beautiful! With an original price of $148, I would sale the sale price is a great deal! Get yours todaty before they are long gone! With a sale like that, I’m sure they won’t last long!

Looking for a fun little coin pouch? This Emma Pouch from Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent looks to be an excellent choice. The bright and vivid colors would make such a nice pick-me-up. Is it just me? Or do you enjoy opening up your handbag, looking inside, and seeing a colorful little surprise inside? Just image how much fun it would be to have this pretty little coin pouch peeking out when you went fishing for your keys (or lip gloss, or cellphone, or whatever). Oh, the possibilities!
The Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Emma Pouch is constructed of ultra yummy-looking glazed leather. Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Milla Pochette PM
I don’t like little handbags, in fact I pretty much despise him. I occasionally use a small handbag when I go out at night, or simply do not want to carry a lot. It’s not very often but sometimes I can’t help but fall in love with some overly small bags. One of those bags I have fallen in love with is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Milla Pochette PM. Yes, it may be microscopic for a bag, but it’s perfect for when you don’t need to carry much at all. Some people may consider it an accessory, but with the adorable chain in comes with, I must say, I disagree with them. The chain strap is big enough to be adjusted for shoulder, wrist, or clutch carry. Obviously, being a small bag it doesn’t give you the pleasure of carrying a lot, but does allow you to carry your essentials. The most this bag holds is a cell phone, compact, some cash, and your favorite lip gloss. For a tiny bag the price of $355 is a little steep, but if you are a Louis Vuitton collector you will definitely want this cute little bag in your growing collection.
