I’ve always have had an obsession with anything from long ago. I think the fashion from past era’s is more inspiring and much more stylish that today’s. Today’s fashion is lovely but I feel fashion from the past had more of a theme and was more put together. I particularly love the 20’s, nothing beats the flapper girl look to me but other era’s also caught my eye.

Known for her sophisticated fashion sense and having a husband that makes girls swoon, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is making an impact in the high end fashion scene. Beautiful, chic dresses and more Birkin’s and Kelly’s than a regular girl can imagine define her style. Now, Ms. Beckham is offering her own twist on classic upscale handbags.
Timeless, classic, sophisticated and chic are a few of the descriptions you could use for this beautiful two-tone shoulder bag. Fossil nubuck accents rich luxurious black leather and gives it a more contemporary look. Pale gold and silver hardware accents this bag with a textured gold accent on the clasp front. The adjustable shoulder strap is removeable so the bag becomes an oversize clutch for even an evening look.

When talking about handbags and Jessica Stam’s name comes up, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? For most people it would be the “It bag” of 2006-07, the Marc Jacobs Stam. As the name suggests the bag was named after the Canadian supermodel. Well, that was then. Now.. her name is back in the bagosphere with her latest collaboration with fashion designer Rachel Roy.

You know what sounds really nice right now? A romantic weekend getaway! Of course, this picture-perfect trip would not be complete without a picture-perfect travel bag. Personally, I like a classic duffel style. That’s why I really like this Kate Moss for Longchamp Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag. That’s right! The iconic face behind the Longchamp name now has her very own collection! These bags really capture the essence of Kate’s day-to-day look. Inspired by vintage luggage, the Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag is effortlessly timeless. I really like the look and feel of this bag — carefree, yet stylish.
My favorite part about this bag, however, is the unexpected surprise inside! Simply open it up to reveal a fun, zebra-print lining! And, as an added bonus, this bag also comes with a matching zebra-print scarf! So if you’re looking for a classic travel bag, I would definitely suggest giving this gorgeous piece a second look. But if the simple beauty of this bag doesn’t convince you, perhaps its utilitarian design will.

First reported over on our BagBliss FaceBook page – Nicole Richie is adding handbags to her House of Harlow 1960 collection.

In 1928, Trafton Cole and Eddie Haan designed their very first shoe. It was that year that Cole Haan, a men’s shoe company, was born. Now, nearly a century later, the company is still going strong with women’s shoe and handbag collections that were added along the way. Cole Haan offers good quality, modern styles for the woman looking for something within a more moderate price range. In other words, Cole Haan is something just about anyone can afford. And that certainly isn’t a bad thing during these tough economic times!
Now everyone knows of Cole Haan’s collaboration with Nike, but just this last Spring, the company teamed up with someone that I normally would not have associated with the word “fashion”. This new collaboration was with tennis player Maria Sharapova. Her designs seem to have brought some fresh-looking pieces to the Cole Haan family. Her handbags, in particular, are chic and modern. I really love the architectural details paired with fun tassels. The Maria Sharapova for Cole Haan Handbag Collection is definitely worth a second look, especially if you are looking for a less expensive handbag for Fall. Below are the styles currently available!
