The House of Burberry has always associated their check pattern as a classic and youthful design for their fans of all ages. The truth is that there exists a love-hate connection towards the globally recognized print, depending on who you’re asking. In the past couple of seasons, the House has added twists to their classic check by means of altering its colors, check size, and textiles to change their accessories looks’ around.

The British brand has presented to us a mysterious side of them, but not enough to do away completely with their infamous check print. Just check out the Equestrian Check (Ombré) Shopper, a piece that’s as interesting as the shadow amongst it. The world recognizable check pattern by the House of Burberry has been revived with a splash of color for their classic wallets collection. Just like every other Continental wallet out there, there is no doubt that this piece is simply perfect. Roomy enough to carry your multiple credit and store cards, change, bills and more, you can’t go wrong with any a handy continental.

My first designer wallet I obtained was in fact a check zip Burberry wallet. At that time, I had a choice of two leather colors to choose from to line my check canvas, and they were the basics of black and brown.

Today you can take your pick on Emerald, Mustard, Military Red or Plum. I personally like the idea of adding a bright splash of color to this classic print, and many designer houses have committed to similar projects.

I know it is a little early to be thinking about school. After all, it seems like summer has just begun. But with all these new designer backpacks floating around out there, I thought I would give this post a go. When I think of designer backpacks though, I typically think of Juicy Couture. However, this most recent outbreak of designer backpacks doesn’t seem to include a single piece from the velour-loving company. But that certainly doesn’t mean that what I found wasn’t just as playful and fun! Some of these backpacks, however, are also down-right kiddie looking. So I’m warning you now, these babies aren’t for everybody. They would be perfect though for the little bagista in your life that is heading off to middle school or high school this fall. Net-a-Porter is one my favorite boutiques of all time. It’s one of those boutiques where if you just plan on virtually window shopping, you’ll still manage to find something you can’t live without.

And most recently Net-a-Porter has hit the big 1-0. 10 years in business is such a huge accomplishment – happy birthday!
