I remember when I was in 9th Grade the biggest craze was messenger bags. Literally every girl, out of the 200 of us, had a messenger bag. It was odd to see someone actually hauling around their books in a book bag. The boys used book bags, the girls used messenger bags that’s just the way it was. My aunt had taken me to Macy’s and let me pick one out. I picked out one by Guess? and it was $32. In reality, hardly any of my books fit in it but boy did I feel stylish. I think 2 books fit inside it and I had to carry the rest in my arms.

The gold tone hardware and studs are understated, drawing the eye in and holding your interest without taking away from the overall look of the bag. It isn’t classic, but it isn’t trendy either.
