For those of you that do not know, Celine was originally founded by Celine Viplana back in 1945. A children’s shoe company at birth, Celine eventually developed a women’s accessory line. Today, the brand falls under the luxury powerhouse LVMH.

In my opinion, the Celine Monte Carlo Clutch has its charm. Its clean lines and simple shape would make it a perfect evening bag. The clutch is available in three colors: Pearl White Patent, Silver Crystal Patent, and Black. The black, in particular, is very pretty because they have given the leather a subtle sheen. The clutch is also quite versatile with its removable shoulder strap. It measures 11″ x 5″ x 1″ and is now priced at a more reasonable $295. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

The bag, which looks quite similar to Celine’s Bittersweet purse is going to be produced in limited quantities and expected to hit store shelves in Asia when fall rolls around. The limited-edition “Miss Song Bag” retails for about $4000.

About the Bag: Les Parisiennes is the newest limited collection of Celine bags. They are designed by three different women: Clemence, Pamela and Valerie. Celine produced 300 of these bags worldwide. Now this is considered the “baby” Clemence. The bigger Clemence has a leather zip around pouch at the bottom. . . it’s the same bag, but with a heavier leather bottom! This is denim with a silver wash to it. The bag measures 14″ tall and is 13″ wide at the bottom. The handle has a 7″ drop. This is a hand carry or shoulder model. . . It may be a bit snug if you have a bulky coat. This is absolutely authentic and even comes with the dustbag, the authenticity card, the control tab, the Celine booklet (in French, English, Chinese and Japanese) Plus the shopping bag. The inside has one zip pocket, and a cell phone pocket!
