With the Hollywood baby boom, having babies seems like the latest trend. Along with babies comes diapers, wipes, and bottles and these aren’t likely to fit in mommy’s Dior clutch now will they? Of course not, but don’t ever underestimate Hollywood fashionistas….where there is a will there is a way…and where there are stylish mommies comes practical designers. Many designers, from Burberry to Juicy Couture, have jumped on the bandwagon of designing chic diaper bags for couture mommies.

The first diaper bag featured above is the Juicy Couture Scottie-Print Diaper Bag, Camomile Lawn and retails at a fair $350. This bag is roomy enough to fit all of the essentials and chic enough to keep mommy looking stylish. And best of all it comes with “Couture Baby” burping cloth, “Couture Baby” bib, and “Juicy Couture” blanket. The second diaper bag featured is the Felix Rey Lucia Leopard-Print Diaper Bag. This ultra chic and stylish bag retails at $350 as well and is sophisticated enough for mommy’s work suits. The third bag featured is the Chloe Diaper Bag and retails at $812. This couture diaper bag fits all of the essential items and can be carried with all of mommy’s outfits. The fourth bag is the Burberry Exploded Check Diaper Tote and retails at $545. This bag features the signature Burberry Check pattern and patent leather trimming, making it ultra stylish and versatile.

Chloe Odessa Lambskin Satchel Purse
The satchel has got to be my favorite type of structure when it comes to a handbag. As I was doing my daily net browsing, I spotted this one satchel through Saks Fifth Avenue (dot com). Chloe’s Odessa Lambskin Satchel is definitely something I would carry. First of all, I truly adore the crinkly metallic leather body and how fine it complements with the smooth matte grey leather which can be seen among the upper portion of the handbag. The Odessa satchel can be carried in two different ways, on the arm with its two grey top handles, or it can be worn on the shoulder by means of the detachable shoulder strap included. Silver hardware can be found throughout the bag, including a silver bow shaped clasp, all which corresponds with the whole metallic theme. Upon opening the satchel, two divided sections and a zipper compartment can be found within. With measurements of 15” x 9” x 2”, I assume this Chloe can be used as an everyday bag. I can also see how well this bag can be dressed up or dressed down, and still look really nice. Although I do not love the $1,695 price tag, if I were looking to invest in a pretty (and shiny) Chloe bag, this would definitely be it.

Designer Chloe Bay Bags
Many people were not a fan of last seasons Chloe Bay Bags. I am judging this on the fact that this style, what’s left after the crazy holiday sale season, can now be seen in the sale section of many designer online shops (such as net-a-porter and bluefly,) in the neighborhood of 30-50% off retail.

Well it’s a new season, and new batch has made its way to nap. What makes these bags so special, unique, and different? Besides the minor structural changes, the fresh new bold colors! Look-ie above, to get a sample of what’s new: metallic luscious rich purple and bold soft gold. Gorgeous aren’t they?

Although that they are the same bag (according to net-a-porter), identical style and size, the gold retails for slightly more. Could it be because of the metallic sheen of the gold version. The purple retails for $1,780 and the gold will set you back $2,185.

See by Chloe launches a Bag Line
See by Chloe, the less-expensive line targeted to those who crave a more youthful and casual look, than the house’s main line, is getting ready for a new addition – an accessory line.

WWD reports - The line will be distinctive for its graphic plays on the See by Chloé logo and quirky fabric and color combinations, with a strong focus on fabrics rather than only leather.

Styles from the eclectic line include shoulder bags that echo sports bags from the Seventies and glittery, soft clutches, as well as a range of vibrant, logo-splashed cotton canvas shoppers. Certain styles feature detachable straps, and highlights from the small leather goods include a dinky mouse purse and animal key chains.

Prices range from around $300 to $470 at retail for fabric bags to $500 to $700 for leather styles. Small leather goods sell for $40 to $120.

Chloe Maya Bags in Turqoise and Violet
All other previous seasons I never been a fan of Chloe handbags, that was until Paulo Melim Andersson (ex-marni guy) entered the building, now I can not stop drooling over the new array of designer handbags for spring! Oh my gosh, the colors, the styles (have you seen the reversible totes!), the shapes - my heart is yearning to get a piece of this for xmas (no hints or anything).

Pictured above are two of the newest spring 2007 additions of the Maya bag at net-a-porter. Arrived this week! There’s the large Maya ($1,405) in aqua-licious turquoise and the larger style ($1,540) available in eye-popping Violet. Both bags share most characteristics, main difference is the size. The aqua is slightly taller, but the violet is longer horizontally.

Designer fashion fact of the day, did you know that Egyptian-born Parisienne Gaby Aghion created the French luxury fashion design house Chloe in 1952. History has it, Gaby felt her name sounded as though it “belonged to a fortune-teller,” so she borrowed the name Chloe from a friend (a faux fur manufacturer) for its warm feminine appeal.

Designer Purse Deal: Chloe Fox Square Silverado Tote
Today when I was at Nordstrom’s Café I met a fellow purse enthusiast who also shares the same passion for Lanvin bags – and my Lanvin Ludvine purse. She then informed me that my previous season bag (in a different color) was currently at Nordstorm’s sister store, the rack, where it carried a price tag of only $500! Good lord. So what did I do? The Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Chloe Paddy
Chloe shrunk the paddy! This new fall piece is dressed in a delicious red vermilion leather outfit and mirrors everything the mommy-paddy features (minus the price), such as the body style, large Chloe inscribed signature padlock and key, double handles, and brass hardware.

Purse Trend: Black with a touch of Gold
Have you gone purse shopping lately and noticed the increased number of black and gold bags? They’re everywhere. From online to instore, this trend is all over the place for this up-and-coming fall season.

Personally, I’m more of a black and platinum/silver type of girl, so I doubt I would rock one of these bags. Well except for the Chloe Gold Bow Clutch. That one is just simply adorable.

Kim Kardashian Loves her Chloe Bag
Spotted: A couple days ago the brunette beauty Kim Kardashian was spotted at the “What Teens Want Party for Nickelodeon Network The N” in New York City with the lovely grey & silver Chloe evening purse in hand.

Kim’s bag is from a previous season and is no longer available online at the department store sites. However, if you are lucky then you may spot Kim’s bag up for auction on her kimsaprincess ebay page. In the meantime, check out this other Chloe Bag up for sale….
