Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! And what better way to celebrate than with a cute Valentine’s Day accessory? Oh my gosh, my jaw just about hit the floor when I say the new Louis Vuitton Vernis Heart Coin Purse in Leopard! It is so adorable in the Blanc Corail (White/Coral Pink). I love it! But for almost $500? Yikes! I think I might want to save my money and put it toward an actual handbag. So I decided to do a little digging to see what sorts of Valentine’s Day accessories I could uncover for a bagista on a budget. What I found was a collection of affordable accessories that you won’t feel guilty about once it’s time to store them in your closet for about 11 months. So get yourself a little gift this Valentine’s Day! And gentlemen? If you’re out there, then you might want to take note! These are some great gift ideas for that special handbag lover in your life!

Coach Kristin

I first discovered Coach when I was in high school. It was the “it” brand to have. Almost every girl in my high school had a Coach purse and accessories and if you didn’t you were instantly labeled “uncool.” I can vividly remember all of us talking about the different Coach bags that were coming out every season and which ones we wanted to get. Of course, at that age we had wish lists and credit cards our parents gave us because none of us had jobs. Even after Christmas break, we were all eager to find out who got which Coach bags.

The point of everything stated above, is that back then Coach was a different brand. It was more classic and they had their very own unique look. Now, Coach is more edgier and strives to be more fashionable. The “Kristin” Studded Leather Satchel would of never been apart of the Coach brand I knew back then, but I must say it’s pretty stunning.

Coach Destination NYC

Everyone loves Fashion Capital, USA and the All-American brand of Coach has clearly backed up my statement. There’s so much love for the Big Apple that Coach crafted a tribute onto one of their latest for its Poppy Collection, it’s the Destination NYC tote. The rich aspects of this city lures designers to praise their own tributes to the grand city, such as Gucci did a while back. Coach has not only displayed their love in big bold lettering, but has captured a depiction of the fabulous skyscraper buildings and what seems like a cool blue evening in NYC.

Paris Hilton’s (not) Coach Bag

Okay, so I thought this was pretty interesting, and of course being a bag blog I had to point this out. From far away, or looking at a smaller or regular sized image it appears that Paris is toting along the Madison Audrey by Coach – oh but get this, it’s not! The bag is from her Paris Hilton handbag line. The design in my opinion is way too similar for comfort.
