The Clutch Trend: Choosing the Right Style For You
Clutches, clutches everywhere! As you may have already noticed, the latest handbag trend is clutches for everyday use. Yep, that’s right. Clutches are no longer an after-dark-only accessory. The new clutches are big enough to hold your essentials and then some. They are perfect for when you don’t want to lug around a large handbag. Running a quick errand? Just grab your clutch and go. Everything you’ll need will be right there at your fingertips. But even if you still want to carry your regular handbag around, you can still get use out of a clutch during the day. Simply replace you wallet with an appropriately-sized clutch and toss it inside your bag. Then if you decide to go out after work, all you have to do is pull your clutch out and you’re ready to go! Nothing says versatility more than the word “clutch”. So make sure to invest in a good one (or two, or three) this year. The convenience that they offer will be well worth it!
So you’ve decided to pick out a new clutch for Fall. However, with such a large selection out there, it may be difficult to find the right clutch for you. Cynthia Rowley Ginny Croco Oversized Clutch
What can I say? Magazine clutches are HOT! In fact, there was a lot of talk over at TBF about them in the last couple of months. Everybody was just gaga over the Marc by Marc Jacobs Airliner Magazine Clutch. And if I recall correctly, Jennifer had stated it was one of her favorites. So what about this one I have pictured above? It is made by Cynthia Rowley and it is called the Ginny Croco Oversized Clutch. Personally, I find this bag mesmerizing. I love the simple shape, the oversized silver push-lock closure, and the croco printed leather. Most of all, I love the metallic sheen that the leather has. It is just so pretty when you see it in real life. The pictures really don’t do this clutch justice. And to top it all off, this beauty retails just under $300. It’s a great clutch for a great price!
The Cynthia Rowley Ginny Croco Oversized Clutch is available in three gorgeous colors: Cappuccino, Steel, and Black. The clutch measures 15″ x 10″ x 2″ and the flap top closure secures with a large push-lock. The interior features 2 patch pockets and one zippered pocket.
Check it out over at shopbop.com, where it retails for only $298.

Lauren Conrad (for Linae Pelle) Does Cynthia Rowley
When MTV’s The Hills star Lauren Conrad was designing the latest collection for brand Linae Pelle, I wonder if she was inspired by Cythia Rowley’s designs or was it just a coincidence. Because I can’t help but notice the LC clutch looks quite similar to Cynthia Rowley’s Martha purse. These bags are pretty close to being considered identical, or at least belonging to the same family. Both oversized clutches are designed in a simple flap over clutch style and feature a thick gold chunky chain detail as the main focus.
The Cynthia Rowley purse is slightly longer by 4″, but both bags are the same width. Price wise, you can find the Cynthia Rowley designer bag at Shopbop for $195, or you can save a few dollars and snag the look-a-like Lauren Conrad Linae Pelle purse for $145 at LPcollection.
