If you saw the July cover of Bazaar with Miss Britney Spears posing in an amazing Dolce & Gabbana star covered gown, you will know why this bag caught my attention. That gown is striking for a cover shot, but highly impractical for almost anything but that. Here is an opportunity to own a little bit of that feeling and have some fun with it!
How many black clutches do you own? If the answer is none, this bag is NOT for you. Every girl needs at least one basic black clutch in her closet. It’s a go to for evening when the fun ones just don’t work with your outfit. Of course if you have one already and maybe some sparkly ones as well, this might be the bag for you! It’s whimsical and striking. A conversation starter!
Spring is here and soon Summer will be vastly approaching us. Even though I live close to the beach I hardly go. The sand annoys me like there is no tomorrow. I absolutely hate when it gets stuck to my skin then just gets all over my car. What I hate more is when all the stuff I bring to the beach, especially my essentials, has sand all over them. This is inevitable though since most beach bags have holes in them to “try” to make the sand fall out.
When I discovered the Dolce & Gabbana “Black & White” Beach Bag I Immediately thought it was the greatest beach bag ever designed. No, it can’t keep the sand out but it sure does keep you more organized. Most beach bags are over-sized and you just throw everything you own in them. With this bag everything is labeled, which makes it a little bit easier to keep the sand out. If everything has it’s own little compartment you take it out and put it back in when you’re down with it.
Some people say that denim bags are making a comeback this season, but this tote takes off in its own direction. Rather than following the popular idea of using just denim fabric, this label actually created this piece from recycled denims, which to me resembles a do-it-yourself project rather than a high-end designer handbag.
I mean, it’s not anything new and has been done before, it’s just always interesting to see…

Dolce & Gabbana is known for statement making designs featuring animal prints, sequins and satin. This line is usually not for the timid! If you are looking for a red carpet ready evening handbag that will turn you into the center of attention, look no further. Dolce & Gabana’s new collection is full of showstoppers!
You could always make the conservative choice and select a basic black evening bag that will work with practically everything you, own. But what fun is that? A true fashionista needs a little bit of variety! A girl needs to and should get attention!
What do you think about a bag within a bag? Might sound like nonsense to some, or like the latest and trendiest style to hit the purse world to others. Although Dolce & Gabbana isn’t the first house to present the bag-in-bag style, do meet their version, the ‘Miss Angie’ Shopper, new to their 2010 Cruise Collection.
I can see how you can sway either way of giving this a thumbs up or thumbs down. You might see this as one elegant and feminine shopper, or simply an expensive interpretation of a drawstring laundry bag within a flowery tote bag. From a distance, it might be difficult to distinguish that the material of choice is in fact leather throughout, from the clinched drawstrings to the exterior shopper.

Fergie spotted outside her New York City hotel earlier today looking effortlessly NY-Chic.
