What do you see when you look at the Hayden-Harnett Circe Clutch? Call me weird, but for some reason when I look at this clutch I see the face of a kitty cat. Now whether or not this is a bad thing is a whole other story. But if you want my honest opinion, I actually don’t think this clutch is all that bad looking. I mean, it’s different. But it’s a good kind of different. In fact, the more I look at it, the more it seems to grow on me. This is such a unique piece, sure to get passers by wondering where you bought it. However, what I find most interesting are those curious-looking jewels on the front. They are actually jewels covered in brightly colored leather. Wow, I never would have guessed that one! So if you’re looking for something a bit more unique in the way of a clutch, then check out the Hayden-Harnett Circe Clutch. It is available in two colors: Moonbeam or Black. The Studded Clutch – Renaud Pellegrino vs. Hayden-Harnett
Lately, I have been seeing a lot of satin clutches. I think satin has such a luxurious feel to it. Yep, satin is what makes the evening bag an evening bag. There’s no arguing that it can make things look so much more dressy and elegant. But what about studs and satin, as in these two clutches I have pictured above? Normally, when you think of studs you think of casual or even a little bad-girlish. But when I look at these clutches, that is totally not what comes to mind.

Pictured on the left is the Renaud Pellegrino Studded Clutch. I love the fancy scroll-like details that are created by the tiny studs. The studs are certainly unexpected, but they aren’t ugly or gaudy. Instead, they are elegant and refined. Plus I love all the colors this clutch comes in (Black, Turquoise, Lime, Fuchsia, Yellow). The clutch measures 10″ x 5″, but there’s also a catch. Yep, you guessed it! It’s the price tag! This baby retails for $995.

The Hayden Harnett Positano Gilded Clutch, pictured on the right, is a more affordable version. The problem with this one though is the studs are bigger and… well… they’re bigger. This clutch is not as dressy looking as the Renaud Pellegrino one, but the price is nice. This one retails for only $110. It measures 12.5″ x 6.5″ too, making it the larger one of the two.

Hayden-Harnett: The Limited Edition Lido Zipper Wallet
What do you get when you combine red leather with a cute print and put it in a small package? Why it’s this adorable clutch wallet from Hayden-Harnett of course! What I love most about this wallet is the added accent of fabric on the front flap. It gives it such a unique look and the color is perfect for spring! The particular print on this Lido Wallet was designed by Madame Paule Marrot. For those of you out there that are unfamiliar with the work of Paule Marrot, I was able to find a little background info on Hayden-Harnett’s website:

Born in 1902, Marrot grew up in the Alsace region of France, and studied painting as a youth under the tutelage of Pierre-August Renoir, Raoul Dufy, and Maurice Denis. She quickly blossomed as a print designer, producing a staggering array of modern prints that captivated many across the globe, including Jackie Kennedy.

This wonderful little clutch wallet features a double-turnlock front pocket, looped wrist strap, ID window, 12 credit card slots (WOW!), 4 multifunction pockets, and a zippered coin compartment. The wallet measures 7 3/4″L x 4″H x 1 1/4″D and retails for $147.
