The young (He’s only 28 years old!) fashion designer launched his ready-to-wear collection in 2006 and won the Fashion Group International’s Rising Star award in 2008. He was also nominated for the Vogue Fashion Fund award. But if the name still isn’t ringing a bell for you, he is also the designer that designed Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown. Yes, that gorgeous white dress she wore for her first dance as First Lady! Jason Wu, however, did not stop with his gorgeous garments. Just this last spring, he added handbags to his collection! These pieces feature simple shapes and clean lines. Very chic! And if you ask me, Jason Wu’s handbags are just as gorgeous as his clothing!
