Great Gifts for Mom
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, why not get mom something really special this year? What about a nice handbag? Whether she’s a bag fanatic just like you, or you simply want to share one of your many interests with her, no gift is more personal that a great bag that you know she’ll love! What a wonderful way to let mom know how much you care!

Celebrate Earth Day with these Eco-Friendly Bags!
Happy Earth Day everyone. In celebration of this day, of course I thought it would be suiting to put up a post of a couple stylish earth friendly bags.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Hippy Miss Marc & Penguin
I just spotted these on the Marc Jacobs official website. There the latest Fall 2008 bags from the designer’s second, less-expensive (than his main line) Marc by Marc Jacobs line. Look like Miss Marc has transformed once again to an eco-loving hippy. Very cool. Plus look at that penguin tote, how cute is that? None of the proceeds from these bags go to any organization, but it sure gets the message out – in a fashionable and adorable way.

Juicy Couture California “Go Green” Bag

Plastic Bag Facts:

Juicy Couture Pet Carrier
Behold fashionista pet lovers, Juicy Couture has granted us a stylish satchel to carry around our littlest best friends in. Us fashionistas love our trendy totes, so we shouldn’t expect anything less from our high-maintenance pups. Juicy Couture has combined two of our favorite elements – couture and our prized pups. We can now carry around our pets with us while remaining ultra stylish and chic.

The Juicy Couture “Couture Canvas” Pet Satchel features rich leather trims in a signature Scottie-print accented with tricolor painted stripes in either pink and brown or brown and grey. There are screened windows with rollaway shades to offer a view on either end of the satchel…because our puppies deserve a good view too! Okay, imagine yourself in this senerio:
You’re at work and your boss just kept giving you things to do because she wanted everything finished before the end of the day. And, of course, all you wanted to do was hurry up, get done, and get out of there. Why? You have a hot date tonight (or perhaps a long looked forward to night out with the girls)! Spring is here and a hot new trend found in handbags right now are pretty whites! Just like a classic black bag, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a white handbag. Designer Bags for $250 or less
You know that you really have a problem when you find yourself smuggling purchases in to the house when your husband isn’t home. I sure have one! Here is my typical post-shopping routine:

I usually put stuff in the trunk of my car and wait until the next day when he goes to work. I’ll go out, gather up my loot, hurry it all in to the house, and fit a place to hide it. If its a handbag, I usually take it out of the sack and place it among my other bags in the closet. Yep, it will blend in there. Right? Oh, and I must not forget to hide the receipts and intercept any bills that could be coming to the house. Now I just have to wait a little while so that when I do use the new bag, I can truthfully say that its not “brand new”.

I think my problem is that I just buy too much stuff in general. I love shopping and its especially fun when I track down a bag I have been craving. Lately though, I thought maybe I need to find a cheaper way to satisfy my urges. Okay, okay, I could just stop buying stuff. But what fun would be in that? So I came up with another solution! Pictured above are some designer handbags that won’t break the bank! That’s right, they are all $250 or less. Best of all, I tried to cover a wide variety of tastes. That means that there should be something for everybody!

Juicy Couture Linen Link All Nighter Bag
Lately, Juicy has been coming out with some unusually plain bags — plain by Juicy standards that is. The other day, I stumbled across this bag called the Linen Link All Nighter Bag. The bag looks kind of gross when you look at the pictures found on the web. However, in person, this bag really doesn’t look all that bad. The linen fabric makes this bag feel both summery and neutral at the same time. I’m not really sure what to make of the chain. I would probably be tempted to cut it off! But I suppose that the designers over at Juicy Headquarters probably thought that the bag would be too plain without at least some sort of embellishment. So perhaps the chunky chain was stuck on there to liven things up a bit.

The Linen Link All Nighter Bag is HUGE, measuring 22″ x 13″ x 6″. So perhaps it could serve as an alternative to carrying a canvas shopping tote. The bag also features pintucked gathering, metallic leather trim, and a 12″ shoulder strap drop. Inside, you’ll find a zippered pocket, a cellphone pocket, and a lipstick holder. What more does a girl need?

Juicy Couture Daisy Daydreamer Tote
Head on over to Nordstrom (dot com) now and check out what I recently discovered, meet the Daisy Daydreamer Tote by Juicy Couture. I have got to admit, this bag totally brings out the inner girly-girl in me! I’ve always been a fan of the daydreamer tote, with measurements of 14” x 9.5” x 6, it’s such an everyday bag, plus, Juicy Couture never fails to release a new design each season. White crinkly patent leather can be found on top of this tote, including on its adjustable eight inch shoulder straps. The gold plated brass hardware compliments well with the white leather, giving the bag that vintage feeling. Decorative trinkets and beads hang freely off the bag, and of course, the logoed scarf tie is still found in its usual place. The most noticeable detail found on this daydreamer would have to be the pretty plaided pattern of pinks and greens that give off that fun spring vibe. I can totally picture myself carrying this daydreamer all (spring) season long, I also feel that the $195 price tag is truly reasonable. So what do you bag fanatics think? Would you wear this bag? Or would you definitely pass? One thing for sure is, I can’t wait for spring to come!!!

Juicy Couture Beach Flower Tote Bag
Who’s ready for spring? I know I am, and apparently, Juicy Couture is too! One of the brands latest items is the Juicy Couture Beach Flower Tote Bag. Most girls like flowers; (I know I fall into that category), but I can’t imagine myself carrying around a fake floral arrangement on my shoulder! This floral bag is definitely a bit too much for my taste. Juicy Couture’s Beach Flower Tote contains dozens of three-dimensional blossoms covering the body of the bag, an open top for instant access, the brands name etched on its shoulder straps, and measures 13” x 13” x 9”. I will also mention that this tote is completely made out of PVC! No hardware, no leather, no canvas, just pure PVC! The Beach Flower Tote can be found in four different hues, crystal (pink), white, green, and yellow; and is available now for low price of $95 through Nordstrom (dot com). Juicy Couture Preppy Nylon Sailing Tote & Establishment Slouch Bag
According to my personal lust list, Juicy Couture’s latest spring collection is OKAY. Many years ago, back in the day, I was a pretty big Juicy Couture fan. Then they sold out to fashion dud Liz Claiborne (for a cool 50 mill), changed the bag font, and added a bunch of clutter some tangling stuff hardware and charms. Which is why there is a huge gap in BagBliss posts in the Juicy Couture section.

Today, I spotted a fresh new array of bag styles by Juicy Couture, which I agree to be kind of cute. I’m not going to touch my bag fund on this one, since I just snatched up a Marc Jacobs jumbo silver metallic Patchwork Stam and the Yves Saint Laurent fire engine red Tribute purse and now I’m saving every penny I have left in my shopping account for the Chanel Sale Event. However, this collection of new Juicy Couture bags was in need of being mentioned.

I love the minimal look. I know I don’t speak for all early-20’s-ish-yearolds, but these bags are fantastic. The Juicy Couture Establishment Slouch Shoulder Bag in the metallic crinkled silver is such a cool way to glam up your nightlife-wear. Although, I don’t know if I’m feelin’ the non-detachable chunky silver chain strap. I like when the designers leave you with the option of removal by adding the clasp connection. What do you guys think of it? Also another great newbie is the Preppy Nylon Sailing Tote. First thought through my head, was that this would be a such a cute gym bag. But ofcourse the hanging logo dog tag and whistle have to go. What’s with the whistle trend?
