L.A.M.B. ‘I Heart L.A.M.B.’ Signature Collection

Anyone love L.A.M.B so much that they would show no remorse in revealing it to the world with a large and straightforward statement? From a distance, I’ve admired the rocker designs of the ultra cool Gwen Stefani; just never got a chance to snatch up one of her pieces. The countless reveals of styles and patterns each season keep us wondering what we’ll see next. Will the designers of L.A.M.B opt for something feminine, classic or funky? This season we received something fun and with lots of love! The ultra roomy ‘Williamsfield’ Tote arrives logo-less, but with a rather large screen print representing the love for L.A.M.B. I own quite a few designer logo bags, but I feel that this design would be a little too much for my likings. I can only imagine what type of adventure you’ll run into as you take this bag out in town. Bagista’s with knowledge will compliment and at the same time, you’ll get that crowd who will ask you what L.A.M.B is.

L.A.M.B Freestyle Brandywell

Whether you’re a fan of L.A.M.B or not, you have got to give singer Gwen Stefani credit for constantly releasing new styles and patterns to her collection. This time around, artistic giant red roses intrigued her. Gwen is a gal whose tough chic style is seen in her accessories collection but never fails to add some feminine appeal to the handbags she designs and personally carries.

We’re guessing the “free style” is an all-around tote that’s practical for all everyday occasions. Carry on the arm with its braided top handles or by means of the matching twisted body strap that’ll leave you hands free. Front pockets and gussets at the sides create a large area for all of your carrying needs. L.A.M.B is not the first brand that adds floral designs on their handbags, but these twisted roses on an all black polyester background creates a dark-romantic appearance that can be paired greatly with your black attires.

MMM Leather Slouchy Hobo vs. L.A.M.B Grant Nylon Hobo

This odd handbag silhouette is nowhere near being called a classic, but apparently more than one designer house digs the oversized, trapezoid-ish tote bag look. They’re both black, edgy, and somehow remind me of a giant fortune cookie, but who exactly came up with this concept first?

The Grant Large Nylon Hobo is one of the latest totes to hit the L.A.M.B scene. A puffy nylon silhouette is held together by an interwoven leather handle and decorated with vertical zippered pockets up front. Prior to L.A.M.B’s release, Maison Martin Margiela had this idea printed on their sketchpads first. Their version of the oversized Leather Slouchy Hobo lacks zippers up front (they’re actually built onto its sides instead), and features a sturdier silhouette; a more defined braided shoulder strap and cool tassel detailing.
