Looks like there is a pricing error over at Nordstrom.com! They marked the Angela in purple as retailing for $569.90 — while it’s sister in black is $950.
Is this an error? The details are all the same..

Hot off the presses, the Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 Collection is now available for pre-order at Nordstrom (.com). Among the new arrivals you’ll find the bag I have featured here. It’s called the Marc Jacobs Safety Pin Stam Satchel. We’re all familiar with the Stam, but it appears as though Marc has chosen a rather unusual adornment for this particular version — two extra large safety pins. Leave it to good ol’ Marc to give us all a good chuckle! He has this way of taking something so ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary. Yes, it’s wacky and eccentric. But what can I say? Marc is a wacky and eccentric sorta guy (in a good way, of course!). And I can’t help but love him and his designs regardless. I’m always excited to see his new collections season after season, anxiously waiting to see what he’ll come up with next.
The Marc Jacobs Safety Pin Stam Satchel is available in Cobalt Blue (shown) or Black. The bag features an updated smooth texture and contrast trim. It measures 15″ x 9.5″ x 7″ and it retails for $1,395. Find it at Nordstrom. There you will also find this bag’s little sister, the Marc Jacobs Safety Pin Clutch.

Whenever, I see a handbag in purple my eyes are always fixated on it especially if it’s a handbag by one of my favorite designers. Marc Jacobs has come out with a gorgeous purple handbag called the “Women’s Classic Angela Hobo: and I must say the handbag is stunning.
The Marc Jacobs Women’s Classic Angela Hobo is available in two colors: purple and white, and both colors look absolutely beautiful on the handbag. The purple version is what caught my eye about this handbag, but the white version of the handbag is just as beautiful.
The handbag features a single shoulder strap and goldtone hardware. The bag also features: two front pockets with pushlock closures; one front exterior zip pocket; magnetic snap closure; interior zip and cell phone pocket; and interior lining. Measurements for the handbag are 14″W x 11″H, making the handbag quite spacious for all of your stylish goodies.
The Marc Jacobs Women’s Classic Angela Hobo can be purchased at Bloomingdales for $950, which isn’t that bad for a Marc Jacobs handbag. Whichever color you choose to purchase this handbag in, you can’t go wrong. If I were purchasing this handbag I would probably pick the white, only because white is more versatile and can go with pretty much anything compared to purple.

There has been a new Marc Jacobs arrival at Bloomingdales and it is gorgeous! New to Bloomingdales is the Marc Jacobs Women’s Quilting Christine Satchel and it is making me drool like there is no tomorrow.
The Marc Jacobs Women’s Quilting Christine Satchel features a belt that ties on the front, double handles, goldtone hardware, front and back compartments with zip closure and a center compartment with magnetic closure.
My favorite features of the handbag are the belt on the front of the bag and front and back compartments with zipper closures. Belt’s are featured on many of Marc Jacobs’ handbags, and it really makes the handbag look quite unique. The two compartments with zipper closures also adds to the handbags uniqueness and can really make the handbag stick out in a crowd.
The handbag has a width of 14 inches, a height of 8.5 inches, and a shoulder drop of 6.25 inches giving you plenty of room for all of your stylish essentials. The shoulder drop also gives you the ability to carry the handbag as a satchel or on your shoulder.
The Marc Jacobs Women’s Quilting Christine Satchel can be purchased at Bloomingdales for $1,350 which isn’t shocking for a Marc Jacobs handbags. Of course I would love this handbag to cost less but $1,350 is a great buy for this handbag. The handbag is most likely made in France and is beautiful.

Is pink the new black, again? Recently, I’ve run into quite a few accessories carrying the feminine hue, and they’re all so charming. It could be that designers purposely planned the pink phase along with the Valentines and Mothers Day holidays. I will always applaud those gals who can pull off a nice sized pink handbag, as I sure can’t. Since I can’t do the handbag, the wallet would be my next alternative. I’d love to add a hint of rose to my collection as I can just imagine that cheerful pop of color I’d display as I pull any of these lovelies out of my neutral colored handbag.
First up is the Louis Vuitton’s Vernis French Purse in Rose Pop. The Rose Pop name says it all. If you already own one of the new vernis colors, lucky you, as these are really in demand at the moment.
The Metallic Quilted Zip Wallet by Marc Jacobs Collection would be my pick. I adore this bright shade and against quilted metallic leather, it’s even more attractive. $545 can buy you this pretty Fuchsia wallet.
Save a few bucks and try the Large Graffiti Wallet by MM6 Maison Martin Margiela. It’s got the same bright pink trend, but appears to be toned down a bit compliments of the off-white graffiti print. As I take a second look, I’m not sure if I’m feeling the sprayed print, ladies what do you all think?
Dolce & Gabbana’s version appears to be a bit more simple and feminine with its light pink hue. It’s also more compact, patent, and only $275.

The Marc Jacobs Christy Bag has been around for awhile now. Hiding in the shadows, it seems as though it is often overlooked as people admire Marc’s more well-known creations. But the Christy Bag, in my opinion, has some good potential. It is more of a classic-looking bag, not unlike the Blake or the Multi-Pocket Hobo. What I like most about it is it’s slouchy shape and simple magnetic top closure. I also love, love, love the little pushlocks securing the zippers on the front pockets (Good ol’ Marc and his fascination with pushlocks!). The Marc Jacobs Christy Bag offers a look that is both chic and versatile, perfect for everyday use. This bag is currently available in Black polished calfskin leather. It measures approximately 14″ x 11″ x 5″. And the price? It’s actually not too shabby for a Marc Jacobs Bag. You can pick one up for only $995 at Nordstrom!
