I’ve been so excited about this new bag by Mulberry that I spotted a few weeks ago. Then, the small version was spotted on the arm of the Duchess of Cambridge during her whirlwind Canadian / American tour. I have to say, she has excellent taste as I fell in love with this bag at first sight!
Mulberry is celebrating it’s 40th Anniversary and appropriately introduced this beautiful new Polly Push Lock that borrows it’s general styling from the Neely bags and features an updated touch of the 70’s with an envelope flap and a spot of glamour with it’s gold tone hardware. I love the two tones of leather that combine for a slightly less formal look. The rolled leather top handle combined with the detachable shoulder strap make it functional and stylish.

It’s that time of year again! Vacations, vacations, vacations! It seems like everyone is planning their big summer vacation. And what do you need for your vacation? Luggage to carry all your essentials for some fun in the sun, of course! When it comes to designer luggage, however, I often find myself with some very mixed feelings. On the one hand, it’s designer luggage! Haha! But on the other hand, it’s designer luggage. Please don’t let anything bad happen to it! Yep, designer luggage can be awesome but you don’t want it to be so outrageously expensive that you’re afraid to use it. That’s why I am really liking these affordable travel bags and luggage pieces from Mulberry! These pieces are constructed of super tough scotchgrain leather, so you know they are going to be durable. Plus, they are plain enough that my husband wouldn’t be embarrassed holding onto them for me at the airport. I love cute prints on my luggage just as much as the next girl, but I can understand why he would feel weird standing there with a logo-loaded piece while I’m using the restroom. Below you will find a few pieces from the collection, check them out!

I absolutely love going to the zoo and seeing all the different animals, especially the Tiger and Lion exhibits. So when I saw this new version of the Mulberry Alexa was made to resemble the Bengal Tiger print, I was beyond interested in taking a second peek. I really do adore the classic everyday style of the Alexa, but the Bengal Tiger calf hair is a bit much for me.
I don’t by any means have any sort of problem with the fact that this bag is made of calf hair, I love pony hair and exotic bags, but just not on this bag. I love the classic leather version, which by the way retails for only $1150, one third the price of the $3,370.95 Bengal Tiger Version.

When it comes to the world’s most iconic handbags, the Mulberry Bayswater would definitely rank high on the list! The style made its debut at the start of the 21st century and it has been a favorite among bagistas ever since. With its classic shape and signature Postman’s Lock, this piece is instantly recognizable. An easy style to pull off, the Mulberry Bayswater would fit in with just about anything in your wardrobe. Plus this piece is very versatile! It looks super chic when carried in hand as a satchel, but the handles are long enough to fit over one’s shoulder.
So what do we have pictured here? It’s the Mulberry Bayswater in a color called Diamond Sparkle. Translation: An iconic handbag with a fun twist! The metallic gold textured leather really takes this style up a notch! Glamorous and fresh, yet not overly gaudy. With it’s unique texture and muted gold finish, this is one metallic that could easily be worn everyday. Use this piece to update your uptown look for spring! Pair it with some pretty pastels! Or, for a more subdued look, pair it with some season-appropriate neutrals! Either way, you will definitely have some heads turning in your direction!

Don’t miss out on the sale that everyone is talking about! Over at Net-a-Porter they added a few more items -clothing, bags, shoes and more- to the sale section, plus they reduced prices on all sale items by an extra 20% off. Some of the items are marked 60% off retail. The madness.
This is your last chance to score some deals before they sell out (going fast!) or move inventory over to NAP’s sister discount site TheOutnet.

While thinking about the idea of a gift guide for the working woman, I immediately thought of Zappo. Zappos has a huge selection of brand names with more high end designers added all of the time. Items are received so quickly, you will swear you just completed the order online! Shipping is free both ways and returns can be made within 365 days of purchase. So, easy and convenient for the working woman if the gift isn’t quite what she was needing!
Zappos has so many items to choose from, but I immediately went to the satchels. A working woman needs to put her life into her bag to meets the needs from 7am to 7pm. Let’s face it, does 9 to 5 really exist anymore? It should be roomy but have lots of compartments for organization. If she can slip in her laptop or ipad, it’s a huge bonus. File folders – perhaps. The bag should be ready for the job she wants and fulfill the needs of the one she has. And stylish? A must!

The Botkier Haven Satchel is a slim option that will hold your business items nicely. At 13 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ there’s room for your laptop, cosmetic case, wallet and other essentials. Made of Italian leather for a luxe feel. It has a 16″ drop shoulder strap and a handle. This bag will take you places for $549!

Widely recognized as the first British “lifestyle” brand and now the last British luxury brand retaining its UK factory, Mulberry was established in 1971 in Somerset, England. With a modest beginning on the shelves of a London fashion emporium called Bida, Mulberry was known for its functional leather goods. In those days, their most popular pieces were the leather agenda and the poacher bag. Mulberry’s true claim to fame, however, came later in the form of two iconic handbags -the Bayswater and the Roxanne seemed to take the country (and the world) by storm. Today, the Bayswater and the Alexa are the company’s most popular sellers.
