Mulberry Turquoise Mitzy Large Hobo

The first thing that caught my eye about the Mulberry Large Hobo was the color! The turquoise color of the bag definitely makes the bag look gorgeous and stick out in a cluster of other handbags on My-Wardrobe.
The bag is a slouchy shoulder bag that is made of pebbled leather. Other features of the handbag include: large gold branded studs; leather adjustable strap; interior zip pocket; interior pouch; is lined with beige canvas; and has a press stud closure. Another great feature of the Mulberry Turquoise Mitzy Large Hobo is that from top to bottom the bag is made from 100% leather.
Since we are in Spring, this handbag would be a fabulous day bag. I say day bag because, due to the color of the handbag, it’s kind of hard to make a large turquoise bag go with an evening outfit.
You can purchase the Mulberry Turquoise Mitzy Large Hobo at My-Wardrobe for $695, which is a great price for a stunning but yet large handbag. Being that we are in the Spring season, it’s the perfect time to buy a handbag like this.
The Mulberry Turquoise Mitzy Large Hobo is a great bag for the Spring and Summer seasons, but you may want to hang it in the closet for Fall and Winter. Overall, it’s a beautiful handbag to add to any growing collection.

Bright as a nickel is Mulberry’s Metallic Croc Print Bayswater Tote. I’ve always been fond of Mulberry’s Bayswater tote; it’s the large boxy silhouette that I’ve always admired. Each season, the Britain based brand releases its famous design in various textures and colors, one of my past time favorites being the fuchsia ostrich version. Now what’s to say about this specific one? I think metallics are great, they’re trendy and the likelihood of the metallic craze to strike again is pretty high. Plus, when you want a serious look-at-me bag, without overdoing it on logos or crazy mixtures of hues, the simple metallic bag seems like the way to go.
So I’m a fan of the metals, but I’m not sure if I’m a fan of this specific bag. There’s something about this that isn’t quite perfect, I’m guessing it’s the croc printed suede that’s throwing the look off for me. I’m pretty sure it might look much better in person, but at the moment, if I were in search of a Bayswater tote to add to my collection, the Metallic Croc Print wouldn’t be my first pick. Mulberry Roxanne A4 Tote
What’s this I see? Is that really a new style from Mulberry? Okay, I admit, I don’t really know if this is truly a new style or not. But I can safely say that I have never seen it before. It looks similar to the well-known Roxanne Bag, but it is different. The Mulberry Roxanne A4 Tote has been stretched vertically to make it look more like a tote, rather than a satchel. Otherwise it still has the same front pockets and buckled strap running down the middle. And since Mulberry is considered Britain’s first “lifestyle” brand, I think I can safely say that this version of the Roxanne Bag is probably the more functional one of the two. This bag could go just about anywhere and hold just about anything. And although I have never been a huge fan of the Mulberry Roxanne bag, I think this newer version has some potential. So eat your hearts out Mulberry fans! You can now have the look of the Roxanne Bag with the convenience of a tote! But for people like me, that aren’t head-over-heels in love with Mulberry, it may be better to instead pick up a bag like the new Marc Jacobs Jen Bag if you’re looking for something classic and black. It retails for about the same amount, but it isn’t covered with all that hardware.
The Mulberry Roxanne A4 Tote measures 17″ x 15.5″ x 6″. Constructed of Italian leather, this bag retails for $745.

Okay, since when does Shop Bop carry Mulberry? I was browsing over on their website the other day and, to my astonishment, this lovely Mulberry bag popped up on the screen (its located in the Designer Boutique section). So what is this bag called? It’s the Mulberry Maggie Tote, one of only two styles Shop Bop currently has to offer. I can only hope that they will be expanding their selection sometime in the near future!
So what does everyone think of Mulberry’s Maggie Tote? I personally find the style very refreshing. It is quite different from the typical Mulberry style — so sleek and modern. This bag is totally work-ready. Not only is it sophisticated and professional looking, it’s the perfect size to fit file folders and a laptop. What more could a girl ask for?
The Mulberry Maggie Tote measures 15″ x 13″ x 3.5″. The adjustable turnlock closure on the front flap pocket allows for storage of bulky accessories and the interior multifunction pockets keep you organized. The Mulberry Maggie Tote is available in three colors: Raspberry (Slick Spazzalato Leather), Stone (Polished Goatskin Leather), and Black (Polished Goatskin Leather). The price ranges from $1,195 to $1,395.

Limited Edition Gap Mulberry Roxanne Bag
Katie Grand for luxury designer handbag brand Mulberry recently partnered up with Gap to recreate a new version of Mulberry’s iconic Roxanne bag for the Gap (PRODUCT) RED collection.
Katie Grand on the collaboration: “Throughout my adult life I have seen the effects of AIDS at close hand,” says Katie, “So to be asked to curate this project with Gap and (RED) has been an honor and a privilege. It’s not very often you get the chance to take designers from fashion’s more exclusive areas and make them accessible to a wider audience through a high-street icon.”
Basically it’s the same Roxanne-style minus the (quality) Mulberry materials. Instead the bag has been reworked in sweatshirt jersey. Color choices, it will be available in both red and gray versions.
On December 1st the bag was first released in the UK and Paris to commemorate World AIDS Day, and in this past weekend the bag was launched in the US, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
On the thumbs up side, 50% of the profits will be donated towards Gap’s (PRODUCT) RED campaign, a Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.

Check out Mulberry’s fresh new addition to the early spring-summer ‘08 designer handbag collection — meet Agyness. This lovely beauty was named after the stunning English supermodel Agyness Deyn (real name Laura Hollins).
Agyness has appeared in advertisements for Blugirl by Blumarine, Burberry, Cacharel, John Galliano, Gianfranco Ferre, Giorgio Armani, Mulberry, Paul Smith, and Vivienne Westwood. Also this year she picked up the “Model of the Year” award at the British Fashion Awards. This truely is her year, what better timing than this to have a designer purse named after you. Mulberry Site Revamped for the Holidays
Just in time for the holidays, Mulberry’s online boutique has been completely re-vamped. They even added a sweet snow-fall style on their homepage.
Speaking of completely re-vamped, check out BagBliss’ sister site TheFashionRow, lol. Introduced less than a week ago and already undergone a complete makeover. Bag Bliss went through 4 new sites within the last couple years, and TFR already 2 within a week.. I keep my design team on their feet.
