Rebecca Minkoff started her mark in the fashion world when she launched her own clothing line in 2001. She didn’t become known until actress Jenna Elfman asked Ms. Minkoff to design her a bag for her next movie. This is when the “Morning After” Bag came to life. The “Morning After” Bag is one of her most famous bags that has been seen on number of celebrities. Some of her other well known pieces include the “Nikki” and “Devote”.

Now that Rebecca has made a name for herself in the fashion industry she is starting to get involved with clothing again. As of right now all the apparel on her website is sold out but in the upcoming seasons we will be seeing more of her clothing available.

Celebrities that have been seen carrying around bags from the Rebecca Minkoff handbag collection are Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Jessica Simpson.

Okay, I’m just going to come out and say it… I LOVE REBECCA MINKOFF HANDBAGS! And I am absolutely dying to get my hands on one right now! Surprisingly, I was not introduced to this designer by catching a glimpse of the Morning After Bag or the Nikki. Nope, the very first Rebecca Minkoff bag I ever laid eyes on was the Matinee. And although this style has been MIA for quite some time, it is still one of my favorites. The only problem is that it always seemed like it was just a tad too big for my liking (especially as a handheld). So when fellow TBF’er shootingstarluma mentioned she had pre-ordered the new Rebecca Minkoff MINI Matinee, I practically fell over in my chair! It wasn’t long before this beauty made its way onto my wish list. Hmm, I really hope my husband is reading this!

I couldn’t help but point out some designer accessories sporting some of the trendiest animal prints you could find right now. I never thought I could actually call a search for the perfect animal print handbag to add to my collection, but within the past couple of months, I can honestly say that I’m hunting for one, just haven’t found it yet.

Woah baby! How adorable is that Leopard Baby Bag? FYI, it’s by Rebecca Minkoff. When I think baby bag, I picture fun, quirky colors and prints that you normally wouldn’t fit into your everyday wardrobe and this would definitely fit into that category. Yes it’s a bit busy but I’m completely loving the look, and of course you can’t get any funkier than raspberry leopard!

I’ve been on the search for a new black patent leather bag. I’m obsessed with patent leather and I’m due for another bag. Patent leather is amazing, but after a while it loses it’s luster and shine. I personally don’t like when my patent leather bags aren’t shiny anymore so my hunt continues until I decide on which bag I want to invest on.

So far, I’ve seen two bags that I’m in love with. The YSL Easy Handbag and the Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini. Both are stunning and available in black patent. The only difference is the pricing! The Rebecca Minkoff MAM is significantly cheaper than the YSL Easy Handbag.
