The Zac Posen Sweet Danger Clutch is a very interesting-looking piece. When I first laid eyes on it, that glossy patent red leather really grabbed my attention. It is very bold for such a small bag. What I find most interesting, however, is the way the patent leather is displayed. The sides of this clutch are composed of patent leather strips that are tiled in rows. It sort of reminds me of slats of wood siding that have been painted red. Almost like a big red barn! I suppose the prism shape of this clutch only adds to that effect, making it a 3-dimensional big red barn!

I love black handbags. If it were up to me, my closet would be full of all different types of black handbags. I suppose when your wardrobe is only black and white like mine, there really is no need to have colored handbags because they don’t go with anything! What I love the most is black bags that don’t look like anything else out there. I like being unique, especially with my fashion choices.
When I spotted the Z Spoke Zac Posen Two-Toned Satchel, I was instantly in love. It reminded me of a doctor bag but the hardware gave it a little more edge. What sticks out the most to me, when it comes to his bad, is the double handles. I can’t recall ever seeing golden hardware as handles on a bad before. I mean, I’m sure it’s been done before I just can’t remember when!

Unless it’s a giant tote bag, I usually stay clear from the shoulder bag section. A normal sized bag never really does much for my obsession of carrying my house and more everywhere I go.
Looking extra attractive is the Carine Lock bag by Zac Posen, a cute bag that I ran into at my local Saks today. It’s such an adorable piece, starting with the pretty fuchsia hue. I admire rich leather sporting bold color, and this bag has it. Up close or in person you would see how distressed and glazed the leather really is on this bag. The next eye catching detail is the gunmetal gem found right up front, it’s actually just a squared décor but from a distance, it looks jewel like. The lock detail up front doubles as a magnetic snap closure, which always serves for quick access to your essentials. A 10” single shoulder strap, divided interior, and patch pockets are also found on the Carine. Measuring in at 11” x 15” x 4” this isn’t exactly small, as it would make a great night out or party shoulder bag.

For a hefty price tag of $1,450 you can pick up this Posen via: shopbop

Zac Posen Trillium Pleated Bow Tote
If you dislike pleats, bows, chains, and the color purple… then this bag is definitely not for you. Personally, I like all of the details listed above, but I don’t know how I feel about finding all those features on one single bag. A perfect example of this would be the Trillium Pleated Bow Tote by Zac Posen. What do you think gals? Personally, I like the body of the bag. I like how this Posen is composed of structured Nappa leather and how it’s slender in width. Although those pinched-pleats wouldn’t be my pleats of choice… window blinds anybody? I don’t know how I feel over the chained shoulder strap either, it reminds me too much of the railing to a rollercoaster ride. I find the worst part about the strap is the fact that it’s permanently attached to the bag, that’s right… it’s not removable. I could just imagine how horrid this bag would look worn on the crook of the arm. Imagine the dangling 16.5” chain drop! The only removable piece to this bag is the monogrammed leather tag, which I don’t care too much for. I say this tote, minus the chain, would have looked much better!

Zac Posen Lil Zac Handbag
Nothing is more classic than a simple shape, like the crescent hobo. The clean lines, the elegant curves, the simple hardware. Yeah, its plain. But in my opinion, its plain in a good way. This bag doesn’t look too dressy or too casual. What does that mean? Well, that means that it can go both ways: dressy or casual. It just depends on what clothes you pair it with!
The Lil Zac Handbag seems to be an excellent example of a split-personality bag. Its so simple and classy. But if you happen to get it in the Canary Yellow, it can be really fun as well! I think the color gives the simple design of the bag just enough of a pop to give interest to any outfit. Mmmm… just imagine it with white trousers and a floaty black top. Or you could pair it with a casual yellow skirt and tee! Plus that rolled handle looks incredibly comfortable, doesn’t it? I am such a stickler for comfortable shoulder straps! One of my favorite bags is actually a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag with the most awesome strap I have ever worn!
The Zac Posen Lil Zac Handbag:
- Soft, pebbled leather
- Zip Closure
- Rolled Handle with an 8″ drop
- Measures 9″ x 12″ x 6.5″
- Retails for $1,195

Zac Posen Handbags
Zac Posen is the prince of haute couture evening gowns. His gowns are made with the perfect material, detail, style, and precision. Zac Posen now also has a handbag line. Do you think his handbag line can live up to the expectations that we have of his evening gowns?
This first bag is the Zac Posen Attache Fifth Avenue Tote. This bag definitely screams Fifth Avenue. It is sleek and elegant in the black and white leather and croc and goldtone hardware. This bag is sophisticated, timeless, and chic. It is probably my favorite handbag from the most recent line. It retails at $1,800.00.
The second bag is the Zac Posen Pumpkin Drawstring Hobo. This bag consists of richly woven leather and soft pebbled leather side panels and tassel detail. This bag is roomy and stylish and is the perfect everyday bag. This bag retails at $1,995.00.
The third bag is the Zac Posen Bo Mixed Leather Bag. This bright yellow bag features a mix of pebbled, patent, and smooth leather. This bag is very versatile because it is so structured an basic while still so funky and stylish in this bright mustard yellow. This bag can now be found on sale for $836.50.
All of these bags, along with other Zac Posen bags, can be found at Saks.com.

Zac Posen Madison Bag
I never really paid much attention to Zac Posen handbags in the past. They never called to me saying “Look at what a delicious bag I am! Buy me! Take me home!” Nope, not once have I been drawn to a Zac Posen handbag.
So what makes this Madison Bag different? Well, nothing really. But I was browsing around over at Shop Bop today and noticed that they have a section labeled “Designer Boutique”. I guess I never really noticed it before. But then again, I’m typically just there to look at Marc By Marc Jacobs and Rebecca Minkoff handbags.
So anyway, I decided to check out the “Designer Boutique” section there at Shop Bop. And what do you know? They have Zac Posen handbags there. This particular one, called the Madison Bag, caught my eye for one reason only. Yep, this bag kind of reminds me of a Chanel Classic Flap! LOL! However, I’m not really sure whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. I mean, why would Zac Posen want to come out with a bag that is so similar (shape and style wise) to such a huge fashion icon? Okay, so it doesn’t look exactly like a Chanel bag… but it is similar in size and shape. Plus it has a flap and a double chain strap.
Interestingly though, the Madison Bag does have some of its own unique features. For example, the bag opens up like an accordion-style portfolio. It also has a lock closure complete with its own little key. Those features are pretty cool. But I’m not really digging the embossed pattern. Why couldn’t they have just done a plain exterior? It would have looked so much more sophisticated!
The Zac Posen Madison Bag features:
Double chain strap with a 10 inch drop
Accordion sides
Interior zip pocket
Key bell
Measures 6.5″ x 10.5″ x 2
Retails for $1,200
