Celebrity Style: Victoria Beckham White Hermes Birkin Handbag
As we all know, the white handbag is so in this season. It’s perfect actually. A neutral hue that isn’t difficult to match with your articles of clothing. Just like every girl should own that simple black handbag, I feel the same way towards its compliment, the white handbag. Let me ask you girls this question. What is hotter than a white handbag this season? Why an all white Hermes Birkin of course! If you’re a fan of the French brand Hermes, then you definitely agree with my statement. Unfortunately, right now with my limited student budget, I can only daydream of owning my very own piece of French luxury, unlike the infamous Mrs. Victoria Beckham who is probably one of Hermes top customer of all times. What a diva Mrs. Beckham is, right? Whether she’s stocking up on Rodeo Drive or taking her boys to the park, I swear she always looks fabulous. If you have the extra moolah lying around, I believe putting it towards a Hermes handbag is not a bad idea at all. Their exquisite pieces live up to their name and in the long run; you’ll be carrying one true (and amazing) investment.

Vintage Steamer Trunks: Louis Vuitton vs Free People
The Vintage Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk has been a hot item on ebay lately. In fact, they have been so popular that people are willing to pay as much as $8,000 for a complete trunk (e.g. the drawers and hangers are present). Certainly these people don’t intend to actually use these trunks for traveling. So what are they doing with them? Are they simply collector’s pieces or are they being showcased as antique furniture in one’s bedroom? Yep, those Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunks are pretty cool! I think it would be awesome to have one sitting in my house, just as a conversation piece!

So what do you do if you like the idea of a steamer trunk, but you don’t want to fork over the 8 grand for it? Well, Free People has recently come out with this vintage-inspired steamer trunk (pictured above on the right). Free People says that this trunk is “a more feminine interpretation of the classic early 1920’s steamer trunk”. Feminine is right! The trunk’s exterior is covered with a patchwork of floral fabrics. And it’s interior? The trunk is lined with hot pink satin. The body of the trunk is composed of heavy-duty plywood, while the trim pieces are made of Burmese teak. The trunk is large, measuring 23 1/2″ x 23 1/2″ x 46″ and it retails for $2,700.

Personally, I think the trunk is cute in its own quirky way. But the $2,700 price tag seems to be a bit of a stretch for an item that would have no practical use other than as a piece of furniture. Gee… I could get a whole bedroom set for that amount!

Find: Goyard Saint Louis Shopping pm Bag
This is a very rare event where an authentic Goyard tote is currently available on ebay. If you are a frequent goyard-ebay’er, then you know what I am talking about. The virtual halls are usually flooded with fake goyard bags, but this one is authentic.

It’s the gorgeous white one too. I have been in love with this bag’s white version ever since I saw Nicole Richie pictured with it a while back. It’s spacious, incredibly light, and has thin comfortable shoulder straps - leaving it the ideal candidate for almost all occasions – travel, beach, running errands, work, school, shopping, any occasion where you want to pile everything you need and more within arms reach.

If you are thinking about this tote, I’m just letting you know that it might not be available for much longer. Especially with a buy it now price of only $859. Go check it out, read the description, and view the pictures.

Important Details about the Goyard Tote: This slightly used bag is made in France. It measures Height 10″ X Width 18″X deepth 5.5″. The leather piping is in good condition. Handle straps have minimal dirty marks and side part leather piping has some used marks. The front surface part is clean. A small pouch with button is attached to the inside of the bag. The interior canvas is immaculate - no stains, no penmarks, etc.

Anne Hathaway Purse Style: Devi Kroell for Target Handbag
Anne Hathaway with her Target Bag, a perfect example that money doesn’t buy style. You don’t have to spend $500+ on a handbag to be fashionable, there are hundreds, heck even thousands of designers out there that come out with great bags that are stylish and very affordable.

The handbag above is actually from Devi Kroell’s cheaper line for Tar-jhay. The Devi Kroell designer handbags which are known for their four-figure price tag and exotic material, traded in all of the above to feature a under $50 price tag and embossed python material. Celebrity eBay Alert: Tori Spelling’s Vintage Gucci Clutch
It was heard all over the news last year.. when Tori Spelling’s super-rich father passed away, he left her with nothing and gave it all to her (evil) stepmother. Where did this leave her? Broke (rich type of broke). She then hired long-time friend Sharon Yost to help auction off part of personal designer wardrobe on eBay. And here we have celebrity eBay item of the day. Tori Spelling’s Vintage Gucci oversized clutch is up for grabs.

Tori’s vintage Gucci is dressed in white leather and features the big eye-catching signature gold double G. This bag is a true statement essential that will never go out style. The measurements of this simple purse are approximately 7” height x 11” length x 1” width.

The condition of this vintage clutch is gently loved, where it shows some sign of wear, several visible soil stains, couple of the stains look like nail polish or lipstick (located mostly in the interior), these stains might come off when cleaned. But really, this bag is vintage, which is to be expected.

Marni Balloon Bag vs French Connection Polish Purse
In this day in age it is not a shocker when you hear about a lower label replicating their designs after a high-end designer’s work. Forever21 is recognized for their huge selection of inspired-by handbags and even been hit with lawsuits like crazy lately from Diane von Furstenberg clothing to Gwen’s Harajuku purse line. Now French Connection has been caught for inspiring their handbags after Marni’s hit, the Balloon purse. The bag, which by the way retails for only $100, was produced by the fashion brand for the fashionista who loves the look but can’t afford Marni’s $1,600 bag.

If I had to choose either or, my vote would go out to the Marni Balloon Bag. The French Connection one just looks cheap and tacky, especially in that black patent pvc dress. The quality just isn’t there, which is to be expected for a $100 bag. I mean how long do you think this pvc plastic bag is going to last without showing some wear. If you are saying in your head “well I like the idea of saving a few bucks for a inspired-by purse,” then I suggest first you check out what eBay has to offer. There are a few sellers with new and slightly used Marni Balloon’s at reasonable prices.

Tori Spelling Style: Pigtails and YSL Muse Bag
I have never been a follower of Tori Spellings fashion trends. Although when her evil stepmother stole her father’s mass fortune from her when he passed away last year, leaving her broke, she started selling off her designer stuff on her eBay and I admit I was a browser, especially of her handbags and accessories but her clothes were a pass.

Speaking of a pass.. what the heck is with Tori always sporting her hair in pigtails? I haven’t put my hair in this style since I was 9. And Tori, I think is a little too old to be playing with this youngin hairstyle. What do you guys think?

Hairstyle a nay. But what about her purse? Her YSL Muse bag is a nice choice for her, but I can’t help but wonder if she will part with it soon
