With the start of a new decade is anyone seeking to replace some of their beloved everyday accessories for more current and newer styles? I personally am in search of a new cosmetic bag and I know just were to go if I want the luxurious designer piece, but sometimes cheap thrills find their way into your collection, especially when they retail for no more than $50. If you seek you shall find, and I spotted these cute name brand pieces carrying extra affordable price tags.

The first that caught my eye and the most colorful from the batch goes to the laptop sleeve; it’s the Reverie by LeSportsac. The printed floral pattern in delightful colors stands apart from your typical solid colored common sleeves. Price tag for this pretty reads an affordable $38.

Treat your makeup to a leather snake-embossed cosmetic pouch. Brushes and lip-glosses of all lengths will fit just right in this horizontal accessory. The Botkier Bowtie pouch arrives in peacock snake or the desert snake version and retails for $45.

It has sort of a boho-chic or folk-inspired feeling to it that seems to contrast nicely with the hodgepodge of funky fabric and leather. If I had a nice chunk of money to spare on a designer handbag that I’ll admire more than I’ll actually wear, I’d head on over to the Nancy Gonzalez section and give into the Framed Python Satchel.

There is something about this satchel that makes me awe in disbelieve at what you could get for your moneys worth. In comparison to other high-end designer brands, for $2650, you’re likely to get something such as luscious lambskin or another kind of distressed leathers, but when it comes down to shopping for a Nancy Gonzalez accessory, you’re sure to get each and every penny’s worth.

This distinctive satchel arrives in exotic python and crocodile leather. With a more common name most ladies lust over attached to this piece, this handbag would easily run from $3,500+!

This satchel shuts with a magnetic closure and features two large compartments separated by a zipped flat pocket. Pretty suede lines the interior and exotic reptile leathers line everything else from the rolled handle tops to the leather covered feet. Dangling stones adds unique character to an already exclusive piece.

Animal Print Bag Trend: we love Minkoff, Kooba, Wang + Burch!

I couldn’t help but point out some designer accessories sporting some of the trendiest animal prints you could find right now. I never thought I could actually call a search for the perfect animal print handbag to add to my collection, but within the past couple of months, I can honestly say that I’m hunting for one, just haven’t found it yet.

Woah baby! How adorable is that Leopard Baby Bag? FYI, it’s by Rebecca Minkoff. When I think baby bag, I picture fun, quirky colors and prints that you normally wouldn’t fit into your everyday wardrobe and this would definitely fit into that category. Yes it’s a bit busy but I’m completely loving the look, and of course you can’t get any funkier than raspberry leopard!

With the Elena bag by Kooba, again we have a familiar critter print with a dash of fun. Light pink zebra prints with metallic braided accents… I would never! But seriously, something is going on with this piece that I’m absolutely liking. The spacious tote size, the $245 price tag and the fact that it’s hand made gives this Kooba a two thumbs up in my book.

For the gal or guy who is planning a long or short-term getaway, this Moc Croc Daphne Duffel by Alexander Wang is nearly perfect. Style this duffel with a suit, or simply jeans and tee. It’s spacious, sophisticated and sports that all-black look you simply can’t go wrong with.

If you’re seeking that chic animal printed wallet, then how about the Python Suki by Tory Burch. The gold toned hardware and tan prints makes a stunning presentation or if that’s not your style, then check out toned down black python and gunmetal version.

Inge Christopher “St. Petersburg” Clutch

I love going out at night and I must look as fashionable as I can when I do. I always have to match from head to toe, and my night wardrobe is usually all black. If there is one thing I hate, it’s having to carry one of my regular large bags when I go out for the night. The last thing I want to do is lug around a huge purse when I’m at a club or lounge. Evening bags or clutches always come in handy when you’re hitting up the town at night, and not to mention they always looks more stylish with an evening outfit.

The Inge Christopher “St. Petersburg” Metal Frame Clutch instantly caught my eye. It kind of reminded me of an Alexander McQueen box clutch minus the price tag and skull. This clutch is perfect for going out at night. First, it’s black and it can match just about any outfit you wear. Second, it’s so small that you just carry your essentials with you without having to carry around a large purse all night.

If you don’t want to carry the “St. Petersburg” around as a clutch, you can easy take out the chain that’s hidden inside. It’s always a plus when you have the option to use a clutch two different ways.

Chloe Elsie Python Satchel in Whisky

I’ve always had an obsession for exotic leathers especially when they are featured on handbags. Exotic leathers can always make a handbag look more unique, as well as gorgeous. I dream of the day when I’m able to own my very on Hermes Birkin made from crocodile leather but until then I just sit admire gorgeous handbags on the computer. One exotic handbag that I’m currently in love with is the Chloé Elsie Python Satchel.

The Chloé “Elsie Python” Satchel is made entirely from Python skin, and it’s absolutely stunning. The handbag itself is pretty sophisticated and the Python skin just adds to the beauty of the bag.

I’m not sure if I would ever use this bag if I actually owned it, but it’s pretty to look at. It’s not really my style, but I can appreciate a beautiful bag that would look amazing in my collection. To me, exotic leathers make any bag look that much more appealing and that’s exactly what happened with the “Elsie” satchel. I think if this bag was in regular leather it wouldn’t look as amazing as it does with the exotic leather.

To me, this would make the perfect work bag. It’s big, classy, and the whole look of the bag screams professional. I can totally see a doctor or lawyer walking around with this bag. You don’t have to be in one of those professions to carry around this bag though.

The Chloé “Elsie Python” Satchel can be purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue for $2,895. The price is high, but when an exotic leather is featured on the bag we can expect a super high price. It’s a gorgeous bag, but I would never pay that much for it. If you have the look and style to rock this bag out with, then I suggest buying it! It may be pricey, but this bag is too beautiful to pass up!

Last Spring I introduced to Bag Bliss the Beirn Jenna Tote. The brightly colored watersnake skin tote offered an inexpensive alternative to those handbag enthusiasts interested in having an exotic handbag. Not to mention the colors were to die for! Remember Sarah Jessica Parker’s orange version? Wowza! It seemed like everyone was in love with that bag! Well I just came across a new style from Beirn (pronounced “burn”) while browsing the Bloomingdale’s website today. Introducing the Beirn Ruthie Large Tote! This lovely tote features rolled double handles that have been threaded through the top portion of the bag and drawn together into a circular shape, resulting in a gentle gathering of material. I think the scrunching accents the exotic texture very nicely, giving this bag a very glamorous feeling. Plus I really like the glossy look of the Black version. It really adds to that glamor vibe. This bag would be perfect for this Fall/Winter season, as I hear exotics are going to be hot again. This beauty is definitely worth checking out. And since it is relatively inexpensive compared to other exotics out there, you won’t need to feel guilty once the “trend” has faded.
