As you probably already know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. An annual health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research to the cause, prevention and cure.
I surfed the web and gathered my favorite top ten products that support the fight against breast cancer:
This season, Burberry is all about the studs. Big ones, little ones, just a few or encased, you will find a studded bag to suit your pleasure. While it seems that we’ve seen studs for awhile now, somehow Burberry has managed to make them seem a little different.
The studded leather hobo in rich chocolate with brass studs is a great everyday bag for many of us. Giant studs embellish this bag for ultimate impact. In recent years, the handbag world has been loving fun, edgy bags covered in studs and fringe. Shapes have been varied from slouchy hobos, trapezoids, rounds and so much variety. And while Chanel and Brikin are still quintessential “IT” bags, there has been less focus on the lady bag. Structure, polish and top-handles are key components of a lady bag. We are familiar with Dior “Lady Dior” bags and Valentino floral bags that beg to be carried in lady-like style. With chic glamorous sheath dresses and uptown look being one of the major fashion trends, it’s no surprise that we are seeing more lady-like bags on the radar.
Reed Krakoff’s introduction last month gave us lady-like styling with masculine and more modern architectural elements. The 510 Tote in amazing rich teal is a satchel that has clean lines, smooth rich leathers and a modern proper-ness about it that inspires one to be sharply dress and head off to lunch with the most prominent of the “who’s who”. I adore this bag and for only $1150, it’s a find that’s incredibly well made and quite lovely.

It looks like Treesje has jumped on the military bandwagon to catch up with this Fall’s hottest trend. Introducing the Treesje Apocalypse Crossbody Bag! It has only been five years since the designer duo released their creations onto the world. And it didn’t take long at all for Treesje to become one of my favorite designers. But I must admit, I am not really feeling this style. I do like the military trend and I have already spotted some handbags from this trend that I wouldn’t mind owning. However, this trend just doesn’t seem to fit in with what I have come to know and love about Treesje. Oh gosh, am I making any sense?
