Since 2001, the owners have worked to return this major French name to it’s former prestige. The brand is a reference for French luxury across all continents with its perfumes, fashion and accessories.

Feminine, chic, posh, sophisticated and sexy are terms one affiliates with Lanvin. These attributes are embodied by the Lanvin Aumoniere Satin Pochette. This darling black satin bag features drawstring opening and a raw-edged silk fuchsia flower embellishment that reminds me of my favorite spring flower, the Peony. A gold-tone metal chain strap provide a bit of shine. An interior patch pocket helps keep items in place.

I can imagine a sublime French lady sitting in an outdoor café enjoying an espresso in the afternoon sun as pedestrians pass by an comment on her ethereal beauty! I could also imagine myself carrying this to a ladies lunch or as the perfect accessory to a daring little black dress while out for the evening!

Of course for such a fabulous event, you can expect Fendi to have no limit when it comes to offering a couple super exclusive pieces. One of the bags, the exclusive Trevi Fountain Peekaboo bag was designed especially for the Las Vegas event. Only 20 were made, each adorned with a numbered gold plate inside. Get one while you can, retail $4,550 a piece. A little bit more expensive than the traditional Peekaboo, which retails for in the neighborhood of $1,650 – $1,950 (find at saks fifth avenue).

That wasn’t the only super luxe Fendi bag available at the event. Check out the beyond exclusive Fendi Peekaboo bag, dressed in 24 carat gold python skin which retails for **drumroll** a whopping $36,900!

There is something about this satchel that makes me awe in disbelieve at what you could get for your moneys worth. In comparison to other high-end designer brands, for $2650, you’re likely to get something such as luscious lambskin or another kind of distressed leathers, but when it comes down to shopping for a Nancy Gonzalez accessory, you’re sure to get each and every penny’s worth.

This distinctive satchel arrives in exotic python and crocodile leather. With a more common name most ladies lust over attached to this piece, this handbag would easily run from $3,500+!

This satchel shuts with a magnetic closure and features two large compartments separated by a zipped flat pocket. Pretty suede lines the interior and exotic reptile leathers line everything else from the rolled handle tops to the leather covered feet. Dangling stones adds unique character to an already exclusive piece.

First thing I noticed was that the bags are a bit toned down this season when it comes to stud work, which I’m loving. It brings out the true beauty in the leather…

Both the Garbo Petite Satchel and Tote Nuveaux are available in a few different cruise colors. Found only at Nordstrom stores in Electric blue, stunning Fuschia, deliciously deep Washed Purple, lipstick Red and of course you can’t go wrong with the classic Black. Each bag is topped off with the Be & D signature bold silver nickel hardware, which is very minimal this season.

My favorite: love, love, love the little Garbo Satchel. The mini comes dressed in a soft textured leather with a dappled effect and is topped off with oversized studs racing down the trim.

Big bag lovers, make note that before you pass along to the next bag, you should wander over to your nearest Norstrom’s and check it out. It’s described as petite, but the size in my opinion is very generous. Measures in at 13″ width x 8″ height x 5″ depth. Strap drop: 4″. Even comes with an extra removable shoulder strap for added versatility. A must in my book when it comes to shopping trips. Detachable strap drop: 15″.

The pretty “petite” black beauty pictured above is sitting pretty over at Nordstrom’s, where it can be discovered (online in black, electric, fuschia, and purple) with a retail tag of $745.

You may have noticed that the iconic Garbo, is much more subdued then its predecessor, all-over pyramid studs are now reduced to minimal accents to reflect the mood of the season.

Well, I’m glad you asked because just when it seemed like it couldn’t possibly get any better, it actually did! Introducing a brand new line from Agathe Planchon — The Miss Gustto Handbag Collection! This new line was created for young and adventurous ladies on the go. It offers trendy and versatile pieces, everything you would expect from the Gustto name. But get this ladies, these new handbags are set at a lower, more affordable price-point. So if this was the “more” that a girl could ask for, then I think Agathe needs a big round of applause!

Pictured below are a couple of my favorite groupings from the new Miss Gustto Line. The Fiore Collection features beautifully embossed leather and is reminiscent of the Gustto Pavia Bag. The Vintage Collection features adorable little studs and woven detailing.

I myself fell victim of a black sequined skinny scarf; it’s cute, can get uncomfortable every once in a while, but I can see myself hanging it up after winter for the next year to come. But what about a sequined handbag, could it possibly last you the season plus the following year? I’d say yes, especially since I’d say the glimmery trend is to wear every so often, not necessarily everyday.

I ran into the attractive Sequined Shoulder Bag by Marni through Net-A-Porter today and frankly, I like it. I’d have to say the sparkly color combination are what drew my attention to this vertically elongated evening bag.

Black, green, and amber stripes of sequins create a glimmery Ombre effect and gold toned hardware fits into the theme nicely. Brown leather wouldn’t be my first choice to apply to this handbag, but surprisingly, it came out quite lovely. Plus that thick shoulder strap does look pretty comfy as well.

The latest spring/summer collection 2010 Longchamp Piliage to debut is called the “Bone”.

As expected for a Valentine Day themed capsule collection, each of the pieces in this collection comes topped off with the signature Heart ornament.

My vintage weakness at the moment has got to be anything attractive by Chanel and sure enough guess who just got one classy Chanel bag in? It’s a Quilted Flap Bag in Camel and it’s presented by WGACA for ShopBop. The thought of how popular this style was years ago and how it still ranks at the top of many Bagista’s wish lists today is astounding.

As mentioned previously this is a vintage find, so a couple of flaws or signs of wear is expected. Even as I took a few moments to study this piece, it is indeed in good condition for something claimed to be pre-loved.

The color listed reads Camel and with the gold toned hardware of choice it creates an overall stunning combination. All the wonderful features of chained leather-woven straps, logoed turn lock, smooth quilting and more can be found on this piece as well. My only complaint would be the incredibly high asking price of $3,850!
