Studio 54, The Bee Gees, disco balls, big hair, and slinky dresses. This bag has me thinking about disco in all it’s glory! Marc Jacobs aptly named this new bag for the Marc line the D4 Disco Jane. I don’t know what the D4 references, but I totally get the Disco!
When it comes to the world’s most iconic handbags, the Mulberry Bayswater would definitely rank high on the list! The style made its debut at the start of the 21st century and it has been a favorite among bagistas ever since. With its classic shape and signature Postman’s Lock, this piece is instantly recognizable. An easy style to pull off, the Mulberry Bayswater would fit in with just about anything in your wardrobe. Plus this piece is very versatile! It looks super chic when carried in hand as a satchel, but the handles are long enough to fit over one’s shoulder.

Every year you can always count on the Metallic handbag trend around the Fall / Winter season. It’s one of those trends that refuses to die, it’s like stuck on a repeat schedule. Not that I’m complaining, I think it’s the perfect choice to match with a little black dress, especially around the holiday season. One that fits the bill, is the Juicy Couture Lady Lock. When it comes to Juicy Couture handbags, my opinion always falls to one side – either I like it or I don’t. And this one I definitely like (minus the chain).
I have never owned a Gucci handbag. For that matter, I’m not sure I’ve owned anything by Gucci. There have been some items I’ve admired in the past… like that darling high gloss crocodile handbag I saw in the New York flagship store back in 2003. I’ve kicked myself for not purchasing it at a reasonable $2,000. (Similar bags are now $15,000) But I am seeing so much more about the line to love. Sophisticated in it’s clean lines and sleek styling, this bag has taken the traditional Techno Hobo to a much higher level. I would have to classify it as a classic bag as you would be able to carry for year’s to come. There’s just enough detail to keep it from being boring. An interesting leather luggage tag, sumptuous tassle with bamboo detailing and gorgeous knot detail wrapped around the horsebit detail. Softly gleaming silver-tone details finish the look perfectly. There are no rough or unfinished details to this bag. Each design element flows seamlessly from one to the other.

When it comes to handbags, 2-in-1 styles are always cool. Who doesn’t like the versatility? Or, for that matter, the fun? So when a 4-in-1 style comes along, you know it has to be super cool! And the Katherine Kwei Amber Switch Bag is just that — super cool! All cheesiness aside though, the Amber Switch Bag is like nothing I have ever seen before. At first glance, you would never guess that this is a 4-in-1 bag. From the modeling pictures, it is obvious that this bag can be worn as either a crossbody bag or a clutch (thanks to the detachable shoulder strap). Is this something new? Of course not!
Alright ladies! Raise your hand if it reached 50 degrees outside for the first time since December 1st in your area? It has here! Wow… all that snow out there if finally melting, the birds are singing, and it even rained (yes, rained) last night! I have been suffering from an extremely bad case of Spring Fever since, well, since Thanksgiving. And now, finally, I think I may have been cured!
