On February 11, 2010 tragedy struck the fashion world. Paramedics were rushed to McQueen’s home, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. If you have a true love and passion for fashion chances are you were saddened by the news. I personally do not own anything by Alexander McQueen but I found a shirt with a skull on it in my closet and you better believe I wore it. I was sure to wear the shirt on the day he was pronounced dead and the day of his funeral. Alexander McQueen was and still is one of my all time favorite fashion designers, it was the least I could do.

One of Jimmy Choo’s newbie’s for the season arrives very glamorous and with much attitude. This is a perfect model of how Jimmy Choo accessories should look like. How could you not want to gaze at this piece for a significant amount of time? If you prefer an evening piece with just a touch of glimmer and sparkles, obviously this isn’t the choice for you.
The Glitter Clutch by the United Kingdom-based Couture House implies just that; it’s a clutch that features an infusion of acrylic glitter, all over. It fits the theme as the accessory to take on evenings out and it’ll fit any party occasion look that you may plan.

It’s no secret that I love evening clutches especially ones that are sparkly and shiny! As soon as I laid my eyes on the Tasha “Heart” Clutch, I screamed! I’ve always thought hearts were so beautiful and to see one as a clutch is adorable! I’ve seen a clutch just like this before in gold and I beat myself up all the time for not buying it. To see one again at a reasonable price makes me very happy.
I have quite a few evening bags and I always tell myself how many more do I need especially when I have a Swarovski one. The only thing better than a Swarovski evening clutch is a Judith Leiber one and as much as I love those I can’t see myself ever paying thousands for something I only use on occasions. However, I think the “Heart” clutch is a must!

Ever since I won a gorgeous Swarovski clutch right here on The Bag Forum, I’ve been obsessed with clutches. They’re adorable and can really stand out with the right outfit. I recently carried my clutch in Vegas to an intimate show and I received so many compliments on it! Even the main performer loved it! You can always have a gorgeous outfit but the right accessories finish an outfit. That’s what I believe at least.
Swarovski clutches are pricey! Not as pricey as Judith Leiber’s but they still cost a pretty penny. I learned of designer Sondra Roberts about a year ago and she she makes beautiful clutches that are all reasonably priced!

Checking Net-a-Porter’s “What’s New” section is part of my daily routine. And low-and-behold today something pretty spectacular showed up on the radar – The Panda by Juidth Leiber
This little guy is so irresistible! The bear is created out of a black and silver hand-placed paved crystal, and I know it may be a little difficult to tell from the pictures, but the Panda is actually wearing a suit. See the little black bow-tie and when turned around he’s wearing a multi-sized crystal jacket. How adorable is that?! Browse the detailed pictures below or over on NAP’s site to see the full detail. The Panda also comes with a silver chain-link strap that can easily be clipped off or hidden inside. Other details include a silver base and push clasp fastening at top, and a fully lined in silver leather interior tummy.

Do you remember back when black lipstick was the shade to have? So late year, I know. (side note: from the Spring 2011 runway, orange is the new bold shade!) That trend is long over with and unless you’re still rocking the goth -inspired look, it should be tossed out or tucked far-far away. Save it for Halloween. That is not the case however with Lucinda “Lulu” Jane Guinness’ fabulous pucker up clutch. In my opinion, much more wearable than the expired ink-lip trend.

Most of you Lauren Merkin fans know the classic Louise style, but did you know it recently got a limited edition makeover? What makes this Limited Edition so spectacular is the 3-in-1 design and unique collaboration with online fashion website, FashionStake.
The LE Louise clutch by Lauren Merkin has never been produced, in fact the results of how well this bag does in the pre-order phase determines if this bag ever sees the light of day. It’s really a unique concept..
