The Lorelei clutch sample sale is kicking off tomorrow, Thursday May 7th @ 9: am PST / noon if EST over at the Gilt Groupe.

Lorelei handbags were created by Laurie Kaufmann Willard. She studied Accessories Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where her final collection, inspired by Janis Joplin, won the award for “best handbag design” in the Student Design Contest sponsored by Elle Magazine and the Accessories Council and was featured on Macy’s Jumbotron in a FIT promotion.

Hump day is worth celebrating, right? And what better way to jump start the school/or/work week then with a little bit of saling. and there are some really good ones going on today….

The sale is set to take place online over at RueLaLa tomorrow, Wednesday May 6th.

Doors will open at 8: am PST / 11: am EST on the dot. One little piece of advice: be there on time. I’m sure everything is going to be sold out within minutes. On the plus side, unlike the other sample sale sites like HauteLook and GiltGroupe, you can’t put items on hold. There’s nothing more annoying than when people put as many things as they can in their cart and just sit on it.
