New to the scene over at Zappos, Dooney & Bourke handbags! One little fabulous essential that caught my eye is the Nylon Triple Zip Flat Cosmetic Pouch from the new Summer 2009 Sport Duck Collection, the Fabric Line.

Details: This spacious nylon pouch will keep all your little personals neatly organized. Features 3 separate compartments: one main one on the top which is zipper protected then two front exterior zip pockets for the little stuff. The interior is lined with hot pink material. Now for the most important point, dimensions: 7 1/4″ wide x 1/2″ deep x 5″ high.

The price.. ready to be blown away. A thrifty thrill, the Sport Duck Purse retails for only $30!

The pouch above is the little accessory to the new Sport Duck collection, bags freckled with the silhouette of a sleepy mallard duck. To be honest I don’t think this style is that bad on the Large Overnight Duffle style. It has a sort of vintage vibe to it, which I draws me in. And the price is ridiculously reasonable – only $148!

Side Note: It is very rare for me to actually come out posting about a D&B style that I like. When I think of the brand the first image that comes to mind is cartoon sketched, color crayoned bags from the Grafic Line, which is obviously targeted towards the preteen market. I’m in my early (come tomorrow, mid) 20’s, with a taste for designer items. So you wont see me prancing in my Prada Pumps down the street in a Dior Dress with a Dooney Bumble Bee or Candy Wrappers bag on arm. It would never happen.

However of course there are other styles, such as the more classic Leather Line, for those who simply don’t like cartoon images. Like for example the Dooney & Bourke Calf Large Zipper Pocket Sac.. simple, functional as a perfect day bag, comes in some stylish colors and most importantly there is no crayoned in graphic images. By the way, it’s currently on sale for only $185!

I have never been a fan of Ed Hardy’s handbags, but I think I may have actually found one that I would purchase. The Ed Hardy Genesis Rebel Luella Tote can pass as “cute” and would be a great school bag. If you aren’t in school, then this bag would be perfect for those days you have a lot of things to carry. If you are in school, this bag would be amazing to carry your lap top, books, notebooks, and supplies in. I always love when I can carry all my school supplies in one bag, instead of lugging around two or three bags with me.

The Ed Hardy Genesis comes in two colors: Cream and Purple. To be honest, I love both of the colors! Cream is very light, and the Purple is very colorful! If I were to purchase this bag, I would probably buy it in purple. When I think of Ed Hardy, I think of something with lots of color, and pizazz not something with hardly any color like the “Cream” version of the bag.

The only thing I hate about this bag is the price! The price is way too high for bag that doesn’t have much to it. For $364, I rather put my money towards a handbag I really want like a Louis Vuitton.

I’m not sure if I would call this tote a day or night bag. I personally would only use this bag when I have to carry a lot of things around. For me, this would act as like a bag to carry all my heavy things in but I would still carry a purse with me. In a purse I would carry all my personal essentials, and I would put all my important work stuff in a tote much like this one.

All in all, it’s definitely a cute and stylish tote to use for just about anything.

You can’t help but to love Juicy Couture handbags. They are always oh-so-cute and kind of remind you of “little girl” handbags. By that I mean, most Juicy Couture handbags are bags that I would of wanted when I was young. I think it’s safe to say, that Juicy Couture handbags are definitely girly, but also stylish.

A Juicy Couture handbag that recently caught my eye was the “Unicorn Crown Madge Satchel.” There really isn’t anything special about this handbag, but it does have the same shape of a Louis Vuitton “Speedy” which is my favorite handbag of all time.

The “Unicorn Crown Madge Satchel” is simple and comes with an adorable little accessory that hangs from the bag. The accessory is a removable heart shaped mirror. I think the mirror is absolutely stunning but I would not keep it hanging from my bag. It would be great to put in a makeup bag or to simply throw in any handbag. To have it hang from your handbag makes it look like a key chain that would hang off of your book bag.

This handbag would make a perfect Summer bag. It’s colorful, and light that it compliments the Summer season well. I do consider this to be a day bag, and I would not carry this bag at night. It doesn’t have any features to be labeled as a evening bag. If you are looking to buy this handbag for a child though, then obviously the handbag would be great for them at any time of the day, year round.

You can purchase the Juicy Couture Unicorn Crown Madge Satchel at Nordstrom for $93, which happens to be the sale price of this bag. The original price tag of this bag was $188, therefore the sale price is a great deal. If you like this handbag I would purchase it quick, before they are all gone!

I have always loved Juicy Couture’s canvas totes. They are so big and spacious that you can fit so much in them and still have so much room. They are definitely ideal for a college student who has to carry so many books, notebooks, and a lap top. Another plus to this tote is that is has a magnetic closure. I have seen many Juicy Couture totes in person, and I don’t remember ever seeing a magnetic closure on one. A magnetic closure is definitely an added plus to the already gorgeous Juicy Couture tote.

Some details of the tote include having interior pockets and logo print lining. Also, if the tote ever happens to get dirty from everyday wear, that’s ok because it can be machine washed! The tote comes in a gorgeous magenta-like color and has the saying, “From Juicy With Love” on it. If you are looking for a simple but yet stylish tote, this is without a doubt one of the cutest totes I have seen in a while!

The Juicy Couture Generation Y Canvas Tote can be purchased at Nordstrom for $78, which I think is a great price for this tote. The tote may be on the simple side, but it is a designer tote. For a designer tote, that’s fashionable and cute it’s definitely worth the money!

I love carrying a big tote to school because I’m able to fit everything I need in it and I don’t have to carry anything else! It’s so great when a bag is big enough to carry all my books, notebooks, lap top and all my other essentials. It definitely is convenient when you can find a bag that can fit everything you need in it for school or even for work.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Standard Supply Classic Tote-Ally Tote has writing on the front that says, “Marc by Marc Jacobs, Standard Supply, Model # 0221.60, Type: Tote.” I always think it’s tacky for nothing to be on the handbag but big writing that pretty much gives free advertisement to the designer, but on this bag it’s not that bad. I feel like the writing on this tote suits the it well.

Some of the details of the tote include: dual handles; contrast stitching; platform bottom; top zip closure; interior pockets; and interior lining. The measurements of the bag are 14″ (width) x 10 1/2″ (height), which gives you plenty of room for all of your essentials. As stated above, the tote is so spacious that is would be great for work, school, travel, or just on those days where you have more than usual to carry.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Standard Supply Classic Tote-Ally Tote can be purchased at Zappos for $151.95. It can be purchased in either, Faded Army Green or Washed Ink, which is basically black. Whichever color you choose, this would be a great tote to add to any collection.

I absolutely love large handbags, especially when they come in a variety of colors. It’s always great when you love a certain handbag and it’s available in different colors, that way you can pick the one that suits you best. The DKNY Vintage Leather Large Shopper is not only big but it also comes in five different colors: Black; Crush (red); Electric Blue; Honey (yellow); and Sahara (brown). My favorite color out of all of them is Electric Blue. Not only is the color stunning, but it’s definitely one of those shades of blue that would really stick out in a crowd.

The measurements of the handbag are 17 1/2″ (width) x 12″ (height), which makes the handbag pretty spacious for all of your stylish essentials. Other details of the DKNY Vintage Leather Large Shopper include having dual handles, interior lining, and interior pockets.

Only downfall about this handbag is that it isn’t exactly a zip top closure. The handbag is pretty much completely open, with a zip divider in the middle. In these hard economic times, I don’t like having my bag completely open, and only having a pocket to put anything I don’t want exposed to wondering eyes. For instance, for this type of bag it wouldn’t be a good idea to have money floating around everywhere. If you can keep everything organized in this bag, then it would be a great bag to add to any collection.

You can purchase the DKNY Vintage Leather Large Shopper in any of the five colors at Zappos for $263.20 – $329. The Black, Crush, and Sahara colors of the handbag are currently on sale for 20% the original price, whereas the Electric Blue, and Honey versions are not on sale. No matter which color you choose, you really can’t go wrong because each one is stunning.

For as long as I can remember, the foldable Longchamp totes have been living on the best sellers page of Saks Fifth Avenue. Not that I am surprised or anything, they are the go-to totes for traveling, not to mention perfect for any occasion from kick-around school tote to city shopper. Sure they are available in a massive variety of colors (like 20+), but it’s still the same ol’ fold-and-go bag that everyone and their mom and grandmother has. Enough already. If you’re on my boat, check out the new Vivenne Westwood Marina Grafitti Shopper.

I’m in love the crayola crayon scribble graffiti-like plaid pattern.

The Marina is designed with a cream backdrop, which is perfect if you plan on using this as a secondary travel or shopper bag.. just a thought, but a bleached white bag is probably not the best idea. The Graffiti is available in 2 pattern colors: mint green and my favorite, the hot pink. This tote also features dark brown leather straps which look perfect on this bag. Also worth noting, if you plan on carrying, lets say 4+ pounds worth of stuff, the thicker straps on this tote will be so much more comfortable than the pipe-thin straps of a Longchamp. And this bag was designed for carrying alot. The red canvas lined interior is spacious and features an inside zip pocket, two internal pouches. Measurements are about 16″ height x 12″ length.

Also what’s neat about this bag, is the leather strap that keeps this bag closed, also doubles as a storage closure – when not in use you can roll it up and secure it closed with the leather strap. And finally, the bag is topped off with the designers signature for everyone to see, the silver orb motif.

Look at what I ran into today. I would say this is yet another designer experiment to see if a product really sells for it’s quality or it’s brand name. Bright and Summery is Prada’s colorful Moss Tessuto Patch Shopping Tote.

It’s not your typical luxury Prada bag as this tote lacks the luscious Prada leather, shiny hardware, and the versatile, everyday theme. Instead, this bright shopper seems perfect for your spring/summer wardrobe, and that’s about it. This artistic crafted accessory carries an arrangement of moss green, pink, purple, yellow and white nylon patches, forming what looks like an irregular sun or floral design.

My question for the House of Prada is, who designed this and why? I apologize to any fans of this piece, but I don’t understand its concept. It’s too juvenile and way out of the ordinary. Plus for way less than the $796 asking price, I can find a handbag as bright and detailed as this shopper is. More details found on this Prada include an enameled link chain, and ID tag and a magnetic snap closure.
