Felix Rey Happy Diamond Lady Jewelry Case

I’m currently in the air, on a plane as I write this blog entry. Of course, being a lover of fashion it takes me forever to pack for trips. I have to have numerous outfits and make sure everything matches from head to toe. One thing I found to be utterly annoying as I was packing is that I had no where to put my jewelry. Being someone that has jewelry that matches with different outfits this was a huge problem! I had to search around my house just to find something to put my jewelry in? Definitely not normal in my eyes. After hours of searching, I had to settle for an old lipstick case that was able to hold two pairs of earrings and two bracelets.

When I was browsing through Shop Bop I came across the Felix Rey “Happy Diamond Lady” Jewelry Case. I was instantly drawn to it because you would expect it to be a kids change purse more than a jewelry case. Which is probably a good thing these days with the amount of theft.

Kooba Colby Convertible Backpack

After writing a recent blog post all about Kooba for The Bag Forum, I instantly became more intrigued about the brand. I’ve always known about Kooba, but I would say now I definitely know pretty much the whole story about how the brand came to be, and I’m also familiar with more of their purses now. I’m still in love with the “Malia” but the “Colby” is very intriguing.

When I was in high school, I thought I was one of the coolest teenagers because my Mom had bought me a Coach backpack. A majority of the high schoolers had Jansport backpacks but of course I had to strut around with a designer one. The “Colby” is definitely a bag I would of wanted to have in high school.

Balenciaga Neo Militaire Bag

The military trend was pretty big for Fall this year. It seemed like everyone was trying to get in on it, with some wonderful pieces (handbags included) as a result. But is it just me? Or does it look like the military trend is winding down? Well, apparently nobody told Balenciaga that! A little late in the game is the Balenciaga Neo Militaire Bag! It is an interesting piece that, in my opinion, is more functional than it is stylish.

Puma Gym Bags

I believe that a good gym bag is as essential as an everyday go-to day bag.

Spacious is a must. It has to be big enough to carry the must-haves, like at least a water bottle, your shoes, clothes, and an iPod (in a separate compartment of course). And I don’t know about you, but the color is really important as well. I tent to drift towards the grey palette (above are my picks). I usually wear some color when I’m working out – it brights up my mood, I guess. So a monochromatic usually works best for me, just matches everything. Although, ask me next week and I could be all about the bright.

Marc by Marc Jacobs New Army Handhack

There’s this rumor going around that military-inspired pieces will be hot for Fall this year. So be prepared to see lots of navy blues, olive greens, and dove grays floating around! But is that such a bad thing? I mean, I really like neutrals that are a step away from the ordinary. Black is okay, but it gets kinda old after awhile. Plus I love the little military-inspired details that have been cropping up on handbags. Think blazer buttons, grommets, and buckles! And don’t forget the cotton webbing straps! That’s why I am really liking the Marc by Marc Jacobs New Army Handhack!
