I couldn’t help but point out some designer accessories sporting some of the trendiest animal prints you could find right now. I never thought I could actually call a search for the perfect animal print handbag to add to my collection, but within the past couple of months, I can honestly say that I’m hunting for one, just haven’t found it yet.

Woah baby! How adorable is that Leopard Baby Bag? FYI, it’s by Rebecca Minkoff. When I think baby bag, I picture fun, quirky colors and prints that you normally wouldn’t fit into your everyday wardrobe and this would definitely fit into that category. Yes it’s a bit busy but I’m completely loving the look, and of course you can’t get any funkier than raspberry leopard!

It’s that time of year again! The leaves have fallen and the weather is turning colder. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Christmas will be here before we know it! Oh my, where has the year gone? It seems like just yesterday that I was having to remember to write 09, instead of 08, when writing the date on my checks.

With the days passing by so quickly, it may be a good idea to start thinking of potential Christmas gifts for that special someone. Nothing, in my opinion, is worse than waiting until the last minute. So what do you think ladies? Would your significant other enjoy a new wallet this year? Personally, I think my husband could use a new one. Of course, he would probably disagree with that. Something can be completely worn out and he will still refuse to get rid of it. But don’t worry ladies, I can be very persuasive when I need to be. Hehe… I’ll simply throw it out myself when he’s not looking! Okay, okay, maybe I won’t.

The Chat: wallets!

I just received a mailer in my box about Coach’s new Wallet Finder. Where they match you up with one of their wallets, based on some of your preference criteria, such as function, size, design, and materials.

Why not, lets give it a try. I’m dying to know which wallet Coach has lined up for me….

First question they ask: “What size are you looking for?”
I picked medium. Not a fan of wallets that are too small and get lost amongst the other accessories in my purse. Also not a fan of larger sizes. Don’t really need the card space.

Next question pops up: “Do you have a favorite wallet style?”
I would have checked ‘not really’, if they asked, but since it’s not an opinion, I went ahead and went with the Compact clutch. After hovering over to get the details of each, I decided that one has the most useful features for me.

Now for fabric: “Do you have a preference on fabrication?”
I sure do. Didn’t take me long to answer this one. Leather. Although I have to admit, I think Coach’s new leopard print fabric is pretty rad.

Time to pick the shade: “Choose a favorite color”
This question actually took me a while to answer. I am all for bright and bold small accessories. Little things that just burst in vibrant color is something I crave. However… that is not an option in Coach’s little Wallet Finder. So disappointed. The options: choose between brown/khaki or grey/black. Alright, I guess I will go with black.

*drum roll please* and Coach matched me up with the Gramercy Embossed Leather Compact Clutch.

Impressed, because out of all the wallets displayed on coach.com, this was indeed my pick. I love the quilting. And usually I am so not one for picking up a signature bag, but this wallet is pretty darn cute. And even though I didn’t get to pick a bright color for the exterior, what I love about this little piece is when popped open, reveals a pretty pink interior. Fabulous!

I’d have to admit, I always hated L.A.M.B. I couldn’t understand why Gwen Stefani charged so much for her designer goods especially since L.A.M.B. hasn’t been around too long. When shoes and handbags cost over $300, I would like to think I’m putting my money towards a product that is made in France or Italy. I still think L.A.M.B. is way overpriced, but I must say that I’m loving the things the designer brand comes out with.

My absolutely favorite fashionable accessory by L.A.M.B. is definitely the shoes. The shoes are so amazing, and edgy that they fit my wardrobe perfectly. Only downside is that they are on the expensive side.

Sometimes, I do love the handbags and wallets L.A.M.B. comes out with. Right now, I’m currently liking the “Gilded” Flap Wallet. The wallet isn’t really my style, but for some reason it reminds me of the 80’s. I’m an 80’s baby, and the wallet seems like it would fit in perfect with that era. The color, fabric and zipper of the wallet all seem old fashion to me. I could totally see someone rocking this wallet with an outfit from American Apparel.

American Apparel has wild clothes that can definitely bring someone back to the 80’s. If you want to relive the 80’s then you may want to check the over-popular store to get some stylish clothes to match your new L.A.M.B.
“Gilded” Flap wallet.

You can purchase the L.A.M.B. “Gilded” Wallet at Nordstrom for $85, which is an amazing price for an accessory by L.A.M.B. L.A.M.B. has always been on the expensive side, so this wallet is an absolute steal. Great wallet to by, to give the one you are currently using a nice break.

It’s usually no biggie to find a cute compact accessory that’ll hold your loose change and also double as a paper currency and cardholder, most are recognized as a wallet. So what does a multifunctional wallet and a purse all-in-one look like? Something like the Framed Wallet Sequined Purse by Marc Jacobs. It’s a newbie to his collection, and although it’s glimmery and eye catching, I find this accessories silhouette to be rather strange.

The fact that every separate compartment is quite detailed rather than compacted into one is different, and in a way, might keep you a bit more organized. To one side of this purse you get a fold over wallet style section, lined in fuchsia leather, and convenient for your cash and plastics; and to it’s opposite side, a fun sequin embellished coin pouch, adorned with gold studs and a kiss lock closure.

Simply carry this piece close to you by means of the long leather shoulder strap. The safety pin and beaded shoulder strap is detachable in case the small accessory with a long shoulder strap look isn’t your style. I think it’s adorable, but not something I would wear.
