Beauty Brittany Snow showed up on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet carrying the Farbod Barsum Leela Clutch in Natural Sparkle Ring Lizard.

I know we have seen the Alexander McQueen “Britannia” Crystal Skull Clutch before. We are all use to seeing it in the colors that represent the UK, red, white and blue. However, the clutch is so beautiful and fun that it’s great to see it released in other colors. I have to admit orange is one of my least favorite colors but I absolutely love it on this clutch. This clutch looks even cuter now and more perfect for the Spring and Summer. My Father’s family is English so I’m accustomed to seeing the British flag everywhere. However, I myself was born in the United States so for me it’s nice to see this beautiful clutch in a different color. It would be kind of odd for me to carry around a clutch of the Union Flag in the appropriate colors when I’m not from the UK but I don’t see a problem carrying around an orange one! It kind of states I’m proud to have English blood in me but I respect I’m not from there so I won’t carry around the actual colors.

Trends come and go with the season, some get recycled and return like clockwork while others are long forgotten about, but one thing is for sure and that is Balenciaga’s City Bag is here to stay.

Don’t you just love Gucci’s latest spring/summer 2013 evening accessories? This ultra sheer clutch was made for summer evening out on the town. The soft colored perspex frame is just the right size for the bare essentials, that you don’t mind having put on display. Measurements 8″W width x 4.7″ height x 2″ depth. What I love about the perplex design is that it’s not just a plain clear box, the design crafted in gem stone pattern.
What do you guys think of Gucci’s latest transparent clutch? Is it true that less is more?

We all know the handbag brand Gryson, but did you know about IIIBeCa? The handbag line was launched about a year ago by Joy Gryson. What I love about IIIBeCa bags is that not only are they affordable and incredibly chic but a portion of the proceeds are donated to three NYC nonprofits: 9/11 Memorial (911memorial.org), Family Focus Adoption Services (familyfocusadoption.org) and Memorial Sloan-Kettering (mskcc.org). Seriously, how cool is that?

The classic LBB (little black bag) is a staple. It goes with everything. I think that everyone should have at least one in their closet. One that I recently fell for is the Gerard Darel Plum bag in perforated black leather. I’m not the only one who’s obsessed with this style. Jessica Alba, a major fan of Gerard Darel handbags, has been spotted all over, from LA to Paris with this bag.

Color-blocking is still a hot trend right now, so don’t pack up those bags just yet. I have a love-hate relationship with the color-block trend. I think it looks fabulous when like colors are used (neighbors on the colorwheel) but not when the colors are random (like pairing orange, blue and brown on one bag). It’s too chaotic for my style. I know some may look at all the different color combinations as trendy, but I prefer more of the classic look. To me this Miu Miu Madras Two-Tone Bag will look fabulous even beyond the “Color-Block Trend” deadline.

I haven’t purchased a new handbag since 2011 and I’m literally dying to get one. At the moment, I’m in acting school and trying to save as much as I can for my upcoming move next year. Therefore, a new handbag isn’t really in my budget at the moment but I love looking on the internet for ones I would purchase if I could. It’s kind of torturous but I know one day that I’ll have a closet like Carrie Bradshaw. Hey, a girl can dream right? I’ll just have a wishlist in the meantime that continues to grow, everyday.

When you watch a tv show do you call out when you see a bag that you know? If you answered yes, you’re not alone, I to am guilty of this from time to time. One favorite of mine that was recently spotted on the arm of Countess LuAnn from the Real Housewives of New York is the Katherine Kwei Donna Satchel. After seeing this picture it brings back memories of my Katherine Kwei Donna Satchel (same bag) that I sold on eBay *kicking myself*
