We all know the handbag brand Gryson, but did you know about IIIBeCa? The handbag line was launched about a year ago by Joy Gryson. What I love about IIIBeCa bags is that not only are they affordable and incredibly chic but a portion of the proceeds are donated to three NYC nonprofits: 9/11 Memorial (911memorial.org), Family Focus Adoption Services (familyfocusadoption.org) and Memorial Sloan-Kettering (mskcc.org). Seriously, how cool is that?
The classic LBB (little black bag) is a staple. It goes with everything. I think that everyone should have at least one in their closet. One that I recently fell for is the Gerard Darel Plum bag in perforated black leather. I’m not the only one who’s obsessed with this style. Expecting star Jessica Alba was spotted out and about looking gorgeous as ever after hitting the nail salon in Beverly Hills yesterday. She’s wearing Heartloom’s printed Desi maxi dress and carrying Anya Hindmarch’s amazing new Huxley Tote in classic Nude.
The Huxley is new to the family for Autumn / Winter 2011 and is available in a bunch of different variations from basic leather, stingray trim, croc-embossed leather, but my favorite version hands down is Jessica’s black Shagreen and nude “Velvet Calf” – smooth and buttery in feel; leather in its most natural form. Its gorgeous.
The Huxley features hand-stitched detailing, oversized maxi zip and hand-rolled shagreen tassel. Interior features pockets for “Bits and Bobs” and “Phone.” Shagreen inlay handles with gold bow logo to front and Anya Hindmarch logo lining. Includes detachable shoulder strap.

Jessica Alba date night style alert! Over the weekend Jessica went out for sushi with hubby, film producer, Cash Warren. Totally casual chic for the evening out. On the feet she’s wearing Gerard Darel fold-over fur trim booties (avail at Bloomingdales. may have to call 212.705.2691), Black Orchid skinny jeans (avail at singer22), a thick knit wrap sweater top, a fabulous leopard print Tolani scarf (avail at pinkmascara) and toting along an all black version of the Ralph Lauren Ricky.
Jessica Alba was spotted shopping in Soho last Monday. The actress was wearing a really cute outfit for her little outing. I love how she paired a casual, high-waist skirt with a simple tank. She accessorized her look with a long cameo pendant and a spiked leather bracelet. But what really caught my attention was her handbag. It is so gorgeous! Despite this instant attraction, however, the handbag’s identity seemed to elude me. Who makes this bag? It turns out that it is the Ralph Lauren Collection Suede Slouchy Hobo, which is new for Fall 2010. This hobo features a wider than normal silhouette that gently slouches when worn on the shoulder. I love the unique look of the double shoulder straps with their buckle detail. I also love the concealed zipper pockets on the front. The diagonal lines they create give this bag a feeling of grace and elegance, despite its large size. Nice choice, Jessica!

Jessica Alba spotted out on a casual coffee run with Miu Miu’s newest addition, the gorgeous squishy Quilted Bag.
Miu Miu’s latest piece is dressed in a Taupe quilted leather and is accessorized with matching gold-tone hardware. Other noteworthy details include the turnlock fastening at front, stud detailing, a double leather shoulder strap with chain links at base, the designer logo on the back, fully lined interior and has three internal compartments with a zipped pocket. This bag is my new love.

The mix and matching of grays and blues worked out just fine for Jessica Alba who was spotted at the airport. Over accessorized with knee high stockings, poms on her scarf, jewels at the shoulder, and a masculine hat might sound like a bit much to wear all at once, but Jessica sure does look happy, and we’ll just say that that’s all that matters. The one accessory that caught my eye was her luscious red orange designer handbag, and that’ll be the Marcie large shoulder bag by Chloe. It seemed like for a while we weren’t seeing as many Chloe accessories in the celebrity world since the Paddington outburst, but it looks like fashionista’s are rediscovering their love for the French couture brand. As for the Marcie bag, I absolutely adore it. It’s leather, oversized, and has that unique design of a zip top and a front flap closure. The rolled leather handles carry on a distinctive design and of course gold toned hardware on this pretty shade will add a nice pop of color to any outfit.

I’m so guilty right now. I was looking through recent images of Jessica Alba, when I stumbled upon this image of her with a bag, which I thought looked pretty similar to those found in the collection by, one of my favorite handbag designers, Michael Kors. I was so incorrect, this bag is actually by Escada!
The bag is by Escada’s Sport line from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
For more information on locating this purse, visit Escada and find the accessory boutique nearest you. I tried searching around online and I couldn’t locate this bag anywhere! It looks like the Escada site only has the last 2 seasons available for viewing (Cruise and Spring/Summer) Let me know if you guys have better luck!
