The bag up for auction is the highly sought after limited edition Louis Vuitton Cerises Speedy from the spring / summer 2005 runway. This is the interpretation of the famous monogram canvas, thanks to the collaboration of Marc Jacobs and Japanese Artist Takashi Murakami. Murakami is considered one of the leaders of Japanese Neo-Pop, famous for his colorful and cheerful enigmatic work. The Monogram Cherry Cerises offers a very original version of the classic Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas that’s decorated with smiling cherries. Cute – cute.

Authenticity facts for the Louis Vuitton Cerises: The cherries have blue eyes, the Louis Vuitton dustbags are red, and I read somewhere, don’t quote me, that the Speedy Cerises wasn’t produced in a Speedy 30.

This bag along with a few others from this line are currently at Nordstrom which is where I got to view them in person, and really imo this Jessica Simpson Memphis Tassel Flap Messenger Bag is nothing too spectacular, however I do adore the gem like twilight color. If you want to stay in the casual entry-level designer bag level I would personally check out the Jessica Simpson handbag line prior to settling on a Coach or Dooney and Bourke handbag – similar price range or $100 to $500 per bag. Retail price of the Jessica Simpson Memphis Tassel Flap Messenger Bag is $270.

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Leopard Stephen Boston handbag was created in special tribute to the late Stephen Sprouse. Stephen Sprouse worked in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton in 2001 – he slapped on the trademark Louis Vuitton name across the classic LV monogram to create the graffiti logo bags, and also created the leopard print for the label.

Goodbye summer it is officially autumn, which means it’s time to bring out those Halloween decorations. Last night I stayed up until 4 am carving pumpkins, an experience that I long forgot about. Oh it was so much fun. Now I have an army of the ‘wee bee la petite citrouille’, and a couple big fatties (regular pumpkins) lined up outside on my deck.

Undoubtedly orange is the color for autumn, but I am not sure if I like my accessory to be this color. Which brings me to this pumpkin colored Jimmy Choo Rhona. I am on the fence for this one. I like the style and shape of the Rhona, but I’m kind of iffy on the dark orange pumpkin color.

Today is Tuesday. However, since I didn’t post that many pictures of our favorite handbag toting celebrities yesterday I’m going to make today a special occasion for doing so.

One designer that I seem to have so many of his bags is Michael Kors. Come to think of it, they have only seen the light of day maybe 5 times max per each. They just sit lost in my closet tucked away in their dustbags.

Fendi | Selleria Sporty Bag | View!
I am not the biggest fan of the Fendi Selleria line. When I first saw it and read the description of this bag, and the other from the collection I wasn’t too impressed with the price tag – $2,000. There isn’t anything that stands out to me.
